Product Selling Guide
Walk around – Undercarriage
Robust 1962mm wide dozer combined
with revised curvature of the blade gives
excellent dozing and material roll
performance but minimises soil retention.
Dozer arms are constructed from robust U
shaped pressings with a closing plate. All
surfaces are angled minimising soil
retention.
Lifting points on the dozer are purposely
angled behind the edge of the blade
providing protection from accidental
damage, plus the geometry aids lifting the
machine.
Pivot pins have pin end greasing and
protected grease nipples
Bulkhead connectors mounted
on the undercarriage frame allow
dozer ram hoses to be easily
changed if accidently damaged -
without having to route them
back to the rotary joint
Twin speed auto kick down Nachi
drive motors automatically adjusts the
speed and power according to the
ground conditions.

Walk around – Undercarriage – Tracks
Depending on application the following tracks can be specified:
• 300mm Bridgestone Pro- Edge rubber tracks (400 x 74 x
72.5) with bespoke tread pattern for ultimate durability
- “Pro-Edge” is the rounded shape at the tip of the
embedded core-metal wing. This reduces stress
concentrations in the edge rubber which typically suffers
edge-cut damage when operators run over kerbs. Pro-
Edge gives a 4-fold improvement over tracks with
conventional shaped core metals.
- The tracks also feature Interlocking core metals – this
increases lateral stiffness and significantly reduces the risk
of de-tracking.
- The bespoke tread pattern has a more gentle impact
on flat surfaces as the track rotates around the idler and
the edge of each individual tread lug contacts the ground
surface

Engine revs automatically drop
below idle when the operator’s
armrest is lifted, this unique
. feature improves fuel economy
and reduces noise levels.
• Programmable auto idle:
Auto idle can be programmed to
activate between 2 and 30
seconds after the controls have
been inactive to increase fuel
efficiency

Walk around - Engine
Perkins 403J-17 EU Stage V / EPA Tier 4 Final
- Gross power 18.4 kW
- Can be sold worldwide
Electronically controlled isochronous governing of the
mechanical fuel injection system maintains the speed of the
engine truly constant, regardless of the load.
On start up the throttle controller no longer needs to be
reset to minimum position as the required engine rpm is
automatically achieved depending on the pre-set position of
the rotatory throttle control.

Hydraulics
• Bosch-Rexroth 38cc variable displacement piston pump
mounted on the output shaft of the engine delivers 76
l/min
• Closed centre Bosch-Rexroth valve block provides
improved flow sharing for smooth, precise controlled and
balanced operation during multifunctioning
• All hydraulic hoses are colour coded for quick and easy
hose identification in the event of accidental hose damage
• High flow electro-proportional single auxiliary now fitted
as standard delivering 70l/min (adjustable between 120
and 250 bar), controlled via an electro-proportional
thumb roller on the right-hand joystick. Low flow (double
acting) can be optionally specified delivering 30 l/min
(adjustable between 120 and 250 bar), controlled via an
electro-proportional thumb roller on the left hand
joystick.
• Programmable/adjustable auxiliary flows for total
attachment compatibility and precision control
• Single to double acting change over valve is electronically
controlled by a switch in the cab (unlike the old
mechanical change over tap)

Hydraulics
• The Bosch Rexroth valve block is an industry leading
quality component. Along with the Bosch Rexroth pump
it delivers smooth and fine control to all hydraulic services
plus fuel savings.
• The patented return-line circuit pressure is lowered,
making the system more efficient as the pump does not to
need to overcome as high a pressure, before any work
can be done.
• O ring faces seals are used throughout the hydraulic
system.

Hydraulics
Auto-warm hydraulics
• Auto-warm protects the hydraulic system in cold climates
when the temperature is below -6ºC.
• Auto-warm latches AUX 1 speeding up the warming
procedure.
• The machine ECU automatically recognises when the
hydraulic oil is below working temperature and restricts
certain functions until working temperature is achieved:
• Engine RPM is limited to 'ECO' mode allowing 1800rpm
maximum by use of the throttle control.
• Idle speed is raised dependent on coolant temperature.
• Hydraulic functionality is limited to high flow auxiliary, to
allow safe warm up of the hydraulic system.
• The auto –w arm button flashes when it can be activated

Safety & Security
Neutral start – The left hand pod must be in the raised
position before the engine will start preventing accidental
operation of hydraulic controls
Unique “2Go” safety system fitted as standard requires the
operator to press a secondary acknowledgement switch
before the controls become active. None of the competition
offer this feature. This can be disabled by the dealer if
requested
Full control isolation - all hydraulic services are disabled
including the excavator joysticks, tracking levers, boom swing
and auxiliary controls when the left hand pod is raised for
optimum safety, removing the risk of inadvertent operation of
the machine
Immobiliser – Either a key or keypad immobiliser can be
specified to prevent theft, or unauthorised use of the
machine, plus can lower insurance premiums in certain
territories.
JCB LiveLink as standard collects valuable information about
your JCB machine and delivers it to you to help ensure that:
- Your machine is safe
- Your machine is well maintained and available to work
- Your machine delivers maximum productivity and
efficiency
