0 The teacher will start the class by correcting the 10’
homework from previous class – page eighteen (18),
exercise three (3). This will help students revising
personal information, for the next test. Book
The exercise consists of:

After the correction of the homework the teacher will Worksheet + ‘20
give pupils, a blank sheet with a format of a body. flashcards
After giving the worksheet, the teacher will later
explain that they will have to dress up the body in
front of them.
Some questions will be asked, such as:
- What are you wearing?
- What do you wear when it’s cold?
- Can boys use dresses?

The students will have the help of some flashcards
to recall some clothes. This exercise will help them
revise the clothes and colours vocabulary, while
creating a fake character with some fake
informations.
Example: His/Her name is Tom/Janet.
He is wearing blue jeans and a red shirt.

Secondly, the teacher will continue class by
presenting a book, called “Dressing up”. This book
is a great way of consolidating the clothes
vocabulary that they need to know for the test.

Next, the class will play a visual game, called “I spy
with my little eye”. The game will consist of
students finding what the teacher is talking about, by
just giving some information about the piece of
clothing she is describing.
Some examples may be:
- I spy with my little eye, something red,
bright and shiny
- I spy with my little eye, some blue and
white trainers
- I spy with my little eye, a blue t-shirt
and white shoes

For the last part of the lesson, teacher will play a Google/Wordwall 10’
memory game with students. As asked before in
class, in a discrete way (“What do you wear when
it’s cold/hot/…?”), pupils should know and recall
the weather. With this game they should then
consolidate the weather vocabulary for the next test.
Assessment:
Use the memory game and the worksheet to consolidate the vocabulary studied.
The game “I spy with my little eye” will help develop the visual perception of
students.

and expressions (vocabulary);

Visual competence: recognize colours, clothes by just giving detailed aspects about
it.
Oral interaction: Ask and answer questions about personal preferences and self

Anticipated problems:
1. Internet not working – would prevent me of doing the memory game;
2. Projector not working – pupils can’t see some images in a big picture.
Solutions:
1. Try the game “Simon says” using cardinal numbers (simon says, take one step
forward)
2. Turn the monitor over for students so they can see the images clearly
