Grooming
Grooming refers to the things that people do to keep themselves clean and
make their face, hair, and skin look nice. Grooming is typically defined as
activities that include caring for one’s appearance and well-being. It is the
art of maintaining parts of the body like the face, hair, nails, skin, and so
on. Humans are not the only species that practice grooming; most animals
have their methods of grooming. In a workplace, the code of conduct and
appearance is established as formal, neat, and respectful. When you take
the time to groom yourself, it simply shows that you are professional and
should be taken seriously. It greatly impacts your image in the workplace
and how you are perceived.
Guidelines for Personal grooming:
   1. Shaving daily is a must. If you want to keep a moustache or beard, it
      should be neat and well-trimmed.
   2. Keep your hair way above collar and keep side burns trimmed and
      short.
   3. Your hair style should reflect your personality and should be kept
      groomed and clean at all times.
   4. Keep your nails short and clean.
   5. When it comes to wearing a fragrance, a small amount of deodorant or
      scent is enough.
   6. Darker suits carry more authority. The most powerful colours are
      dark blue, grey and black.
   7. The shirt should be light coloured, either plain or with horizontal or
      vertical stripes.
   8. A long sleeved shirt should always be buttoned at the cuffs and never
      rolled up.
   9. Always wear ironed clothes.
   10. Your tie should complement to your suit and it should touch the tip
   of the belt
11. Black and brown colour Shoes are good and it should be well
polished and in good condition.
12. Socks should be complement the suit and it should bunch around
ankles.
13. Watches should be simple and plain.
14. Belts should be leather and should match the shoes.
