To stop Slander or Gossip
Items : Cauldron - A piece of paper Time : By night time
Light a small fire in a cauldron or what ever you have available to contain the
fire. Write on a piece of paper that is 3 inches x 3 inches, the word Rumours
and the rumours that are being spread about you. Do not write the names of
those who are slandering you! You do not want to harm them and suffer the
consequences with karma! Be thinking of these lies going away never to return
as you draw an X with a dark marker across the paper. Toss the paper into the
fire and repeat the following words 3 times :
"Rumours, slander standing stout, with this X, I cross you out
I toss their words into the fire, all these lies no longer hire
All bad things done and said, leave my life, be gone be dead!
All the evil that they say, make it all go away!
Rumours carry me no more, be gone be dead, be no more!"
"SO MOTE IT BE!"
Sit and concentrate on all the bad gossip going away for a few minutes,
then extinguish the fire.
To Stop Someone From Gossiping
Write the name and full birthdate of your gossiping enemy on a piece of slippery elm
bark. Wrap it in a piece of black cloth and say:
(Name of person) BE NOW SILENT,
LET YOUR BITTER TONGUE BE BROKEN
(Name of person) BE NOW SILENT,
LET NO EVIL WORDS BE SPOKEN.
SO MOTE IT BE!
Bury the cloth-covered bark in a forest or graveyard at night by the light of a pale
waning moon as you visualize that person unable to speak whenever he or she
attempts to spread malicious gossip about you.
House Secure Spell
Items : Athame Time : Eaning Moon, as close to New Moon as possible.
Ritual : Raise athame in salute to the Goddess and God, asking their assistance in your
"house cleaning". Now, begining at the front door, walk throughout your home
clockwise. At each window, door or other opening, make an invoking pentagram with
your athame. You may chant :
"Lord and Lady of the day, keep all harma far away,
Set your guard ever near, let no evil enter here"
After you have gone through your entire living space, visualize the 3D outline of your
home being completely made of and sealed with white light. Thank the Lady and the
lord for their aid.
Purify a Tarot Deck
1) Repeated, rhythmical shuffling of the cards. This is the most basic form of
purification, an essential part of any reading, which does not make it any less
evocative of focused consciousness- one of the results of purification. Purification
means cleansing. Shuffling not only puts in new energies but takes out old ones. It is
good to shuffle at the end of a reading as well as at the beginning.
2) Smoking the cards with cedar, sage, pine or sweet grass. (I also use incense) It is
especially efficacious to burn such dried herbs in an abalone or similar shell for it
represents the element of water; the plant represents the element earth; the smoke
the element air; and the fire is its own element. This bringing together of the four
elements is an important part of ritual.
3) Filling the deck with Light To do this first close your eyes. At a position about
eighteen inches above your deck, picture a tiny seed of pure radiant white light or the
color of your choice. Imagine the seed of light growing into a crown which then pours a
stream of light into your cards. Know that this stream of light is purifying your deck for
your use. Use this technique in conjunction with the others.
Protect a Friend
Items: Your wand or whatever you use to direct your spells. - 1 pink candle - 1 green
candle - 1 blue candle - A picture of the friend or a possesion of the friend.
Arrange the candles(unlit) around the object (or friend), blue on the right, green on
the left, and the pink anywhere(if the friend is present, have him/her hold it. Say the
following outloud:
"Oh divine Goddess, I ask for your aid. Goddess of the moon,
Arianhod, Selena, Luna, Astarte, "
Now, light all candles, pink, green, then blue, and say:
"I seek the protection for a friend who I love.
Diana, Minerva, Anahid, Isis, help me now."
Hold your wand (or whatever you are using) above your head and begin chanting
"Maiden, mother, crone, I seek, lunar protection for a week"
Now, still chanting, point to the object(or person) and draw the pentagram
in the air before it, seven times. Stop chanting, and say:
"I thank you Goddess"
and blow out the pink candle, then the green, then the blue. This protection
is granted for only a week, and is only really useful during the full moon, or the waxing
stages of the moon
To have someone see his errors
This is a three times three spell to use on people who were corrupt in their ways. It
has no negative consequence unless you think ill of the person while casting the spell.
Wind in the north, run through the trees

Fires in the south, awaken from sleep
Three times three, let them see, let them see
Water of the west, flow to the seas
Three times three, set them free, set them free
It works best if you have something representing that person, like a strand of their
hair or a fingernail. The spell may not work instantaneously, you may have to repeat it
for the person to see error in their ways. Please be sure you're not being hypocritical,
