3-BEFORE CALIBRATION :
MEASURING
- Measuring cell (Ophir 3AP).
EQUIPEMENT - The red aiming cell (Ophir PD300-3W).
- Nova display ( Power meter ).
- Endo Fiber 200µm.
WARNING - When handling electronic items, wear
the antistatic wristband.
WARNING - It is imperative during laser shooting to
wear protective glasses adapted to the
wavelenghts emitted by the laser.
- Protective glasses 810µm.
MATERIAL - TORX M3

4- CHECKING BEFORE SWITCHING ON :
- Plug the remote red control.
- Plug the remote green control.
- Plug the remote blue control.
- Plug the footswitch pedal.
- Plug the power cable.
- Plug the endo fiber 200µm.
5- SWITCHING ON THE VITRA 810 :
- Switch to I .
- Check that the emergency stop button
is not locked.
- Turn the key to start the unit.

6-CALIBRATION OF THE CAVITY
6-1) Acces to menu service mode :
- Once the device is switched, activate
the service mode, pressing 3 seconds
on "Setup", the following page will
appear.
- Press the service button, type the code
« 63808 », then press « ok » to
confirm.

- Press the « Switch to service » button,
the following page will appear.
- You must switch to production mode,
to do this click on the « CLIENT »
button.
- On the menu, write the code
« 91941 », then press « enter » to
confirm.
- Press on the « CLIENT » button again
until you see the « PROD » button.

6-2) Currents calibration :
1- First of all, on this page we will check
if the calibration current is in
accordance with the cavity document,
if it is not, tick on the « Currents
calibration » box, enter the values
written on the cavity document and
validate by press the « SAVE » button.
6-3) Temperature calibration :
2- Tick on the « Temperature
calibration » box, enter the « 37°C »
values and validate by press the
« SAVE » button.
6-4) Cavity calibration :
3- Press on the « CURRENT PID » button,
the following page will appear.

6-4a) Cavity calibration continuous
mode:
- Press on the «CAVITY » button, the
following menu will appear.
- Plug the endo 200µm fiber to the cavity
and position the fiber tip on the Ophir
3AP measuring cell device connected to
the power meter (Nova display).
1- Now, tick on the « Cavity calibration »
box.
2- Trigger three shots, at each shot note
the value observed on the power
meter, make an average, and then
enter the value in the box
corresponding to the desired
calibration.
We have four points to calibrate:
50 100 1500 3000
The values will be millijoules.
3- Press on the « SAVE » button to
register the values.
4- Press on the « CAVITY » button, the
following window will appear.

6-4b) Cavity calibration subliminal mode:
- Press on the « SUBLIMINAL » button, the
following menu will appear.
- Press on the « CONTINUOUS » button, the
subliminal mode displays part of the menu in
green.
- Press on the « SUBLIMINAL » button, the
following window will appear.

- Press on the « CAVITY » button, the
following menu will appear.
- Plug the endo 200µm fiber to the cavity
and position the fiber tip on the Ophir
3AP measuring cell device connected to
the power meter (Nova display).
1- Tick on the « Cavity calibration »
box.
2- Trigger three shots, at each shot
note the value observed on the
power meter, make an average, and
then enter the value in the box
corresponding to the desired
calibration.
We have four points to calibrate:
200 1000 1700 3000
The values will be milliwatt.
3- Press on the « SAVE » button to
register the values.
4- Press on the « CAVITY » button, the
following window will appear.

7- CALIBRATION OF THE TERMINAL :
7-1) Calibration on the continuous
terminal :
- in continuous terminal there are several
modes:
Probe, Thermocyclo, TTT, Slit lamp,
Micro, LIO.
- The terminals can only be calibrated in
service mode.
- Press on the « DOCTOR TERMINAL »
button
1- Press on the « PROD » button until
you have the « SERVICE ».
2- Press on the « PROBE » button until
you have the « THERMOCYCLO ».
7-1a) Probe Thermocyclo mode :
3- Tick on the « Terminal calibration »
box.
- The thermocyclo terminal is calibrated
only in continuous mode. (Use calibrate
endo 200µm fiber ).
- Plug the endo 200µm fiber to the cavity
and position the fiber tip on the Ophir
3AP measuring cell device connected to
the power meter (Nova display ).

4- Trigger three shots, at each shot note
the value observed on the power
meter, make an average, and then
enter the value in the box
corresponding to the desired
calibration.
We have three points to calibrate:
100 1500 3000
The values will be millijoules.
5- Press on the « SAVE » button to
register the values.
- Repeat the process for each terminal to
be calibrated.
7-2) Calibration on the subliminal terminal :
- in subliminal terminal there are several
modes:
Probe, Subcyclo, TTT, Slit lamp, Micro,
LIO.
- The Subcyclo terminal is calibrated only in
continuous mode. (Use calibrate endo
200µm fiber ).
1- Press on the « PROD » button until
you have the « SERVICE ».
2- Press on the « PROBE » button until
you have the « SUBCYCLO ».

3- Tick on the « Terminal calibration »
box.
- The Subcyclo terminal is calibrated only in
subliminal mode. (Calibrate endo 200µm
fiber ).
- Plug the endo 200µm fiber to the cavity
and position the fiber tip on the Ophir
3AP measuring cell device connected to
the power meter (Nova display).
4- Tick on « Terminal Calibration » box.
Trigger three shots, at each shot note
the value observed on the power
meter, make an average, and then
enter the value in the box
corresponding to the desired
calibration.
We have three points to calibrate:
200 1500 3000
The values will be milliwatt.
5- Press on the « SAVE » button to
register the values.
Repeat the process for each terminal to
be calibrated.
