ME
Hello! I'm Binh, 18-year-old student currently pursuing a degree in Finance and
Banking at Hanoi Open University. Although I spent my formative years in
Dien Bien, I now find myself navigating the bustling city life of Hanoi. This
transition has not only broadened my academic horizons but also exposed me to
diverse experiences and cultures. I am friendly but a bit shy, so it’s a bit difficult
for me to start a new conversation with other people. I like going out with my
friends on the weekend. We usually go to the cinema and watch horror movies,
then have dinner together. I love rainy days because I can wrap myself in a
blanket and binge-watch series without feeling guilty.
FAMILY MEMBERS
I am going to tell you about my family. My father is 48 years old, but he looks
much younger than his age, because he goes in for sports. He plays badminton
almost every morning. My mother is 45, and she is a beautiful woman with long
black hair and an oval face. She is a housewife, so it takes her a lot of time to
take care of the house and of me and my father. However, she is an optimist and
has a good sense of humor, which I admire greatly.
I think I’ve got my father’s eyes but my mom’s nose and smile. I am not as
athletic as my father, but sometimes I play badminton with him. I also help mom
with the housework whenever I have free time.
HOMETOWN
Dien Bien Phu City, located in the northwest of Vietnam, is a place rich in
historical significance and natural beauty. Nestled in the picturesque Muong
Thanh Valley, the city is renowned for its pivotal role in the First Indochina
War, notably the Battle of Dien Bien Phu in 1954, which marked a turning point
in Vietnamese history. Today, the city stands as a testament to resilience and
progress, offering visitors a chance to explore historical sites such as the A1 Hill
and the Dien Bien Phu Museum. Surrounded by lush landscapes, including
mountains and rice fields, Dien Bien Phu City is not only a place of historical
importance but also a destination that captivates with its scenic charm and
cultural heritage.
1. ROUTINE
I am still a student so I have a daily routine that mostly circles around my
classes, friends and family. I spend my days mostly adhering to this routine
except for Sundays when I do not follow a specific routine. I’m an early riser so
I wake up at around 6 o’clock, then I have a cup of coffee and some fruit. After
that, I get fresh and go to school at 7am. I reach school roughly at 7:30am and
have classes till 11am. I have my lunch at around 12. Even though sometime I
have to go to work or have another class, there is only 1 hour to eat and take
some rest, this time of the day is very important for me to recharge my energy
and continue my hard work in the afternoon. If you ask what part of my day do I
like best? That’s definitely when In the evening that I come home from school
or work and gather around the dinner table with my family. Seeing them after a
long hard-working day can help me feel recharged, so I look forward to this time
of the day the most. I have been following this routine for the last few days. If I
do not have classes or if I have holidays, I go through a different routine which
includes watching movies, going shopping and hanging out with friends.
2. JOB
Today I am going to talk about my job for the future. It is to become a bank
employee.
To become a banker and work well at banks, the ability to communicate and
persuade is extremely important. With the job characteristics of regularly having
to contact with customers, exchange, advise as well as perform transactions for
them, each bank employee needs to be able to communicate, handle flexibly and
skillfully. the use of words and convincing customers. Especially in today's
increasingly competitive times, lacking this skill is a big disadvantage and can
result in losing the opportunity to work in a bank. Therefore, if I want to work in
the banking industry, in addition to professional knowledge, cultivate and
practice good communication skills to get this dream job. I know there are lots
of troubles with this profession, but there are fewer chances of losing the job.
Besides, the remuneration that I will get is smart enough to lead a decent life.
3. FREETIME
In this day and age where some people do not have the time to even take a deep
breath, I feel so lucky that I still have some free time on my hands. So rather
than just spending time lying around and doing nothing I try to make each and
every moment count by doing something productive that I interseted in. in my
free time, I enjoy digital photography, reading, and studying self-development
courses. I taught myself how to take professional standard photographs by
undertaking online training tutorials and reading books. I am at my happiest
when I am learning new things and I have the discipline to sit down, apply
myself, and learn. Finally, I love animals and I have three cats that I take care of
and often walk in my free time.
4. HOBBY
When it comes to hobbies, photography is the most significant one in my life.
Not only has it taught me a lot about composition, but it also created an
opportunity to hone my photo editing skills. It is the photo editing aspect of this
role that really caught my attention. Turning images into something spectacular
is one of my passions, and I believe that my experience with my own
photography has given me the necessary capabilities to thrive.
5. HOUSE
There is no place comparable with a house. It is a place where people live safely
and tension free. Everyone lives in their houses. I have got a house too. My
house is located in Cau Giay distric, Hanoi... We have all the advantages in our
house. We have electricity, water supply, and all other advantages that a home
needs. Our home is decorated beautifully by my mother. She loves keeping the
house neat and clean. It is my safety and comfort zone, I love my house a lot.
My grandfather built that house for our family. It has been almost 30 years since
the house was built. It was built with quality materials and that’s why it still
looks beautiful and new. Our entire family lives together in this house because it
is big enough.
6. IDOL
It’s hard to believe the star was born 96 years ago. Frozen in time, Marilyn
Monroe image still smiles back at me from a variety of places. She was a
talented actress, singer, and model who starred in some of the most popular
films of the 1950s and 1960s, such as Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, Some Like It
Hot, and The Seven Year Itch. She was also a beauty icon who set trends with
her platinum blonde hair, red lips, and glamorous style. She was a sex symbol
who exuded confidence and charisma, but also a vulnerable and complex
woman who struggled with her personal life and public image. She was a
cultural symbol who influenced pop art, fashion, music, and literature, and who
inspired generations of artists and fans. She was a legend who died young and
mysteriously, leaving behind a legacy of mystery and fascination. There are lots
of things that I can learn from Marilyn Monroe’s life, as she faced many
struggles and overcame them with grace and determination. She reminds us that
we can overcome adversity, become our own advocates, and live our lives to the
fullest.
7. MEMBER IN FAMILY
When I think back to the days when I was a child, I think about all of my
wonderful childhood memories. I was lucky enough to spend a lot of time with
my grandparents. My maternal grandmother looked after us when Mum and Dad
were both at work and I also used to walk from school to her house for
lunchtime. Grandma was a great cook and she always made my meals and had
hot food on the table when mum and dad came in from work. There were no
microwave meals in those days. She made everything from scratch, peeling the
potatoes, making pies, cutting and cooking the fresh vegetables. She was also
very talented at knitting and sewing and she made me many clothes when I was
a kid. One thing about my grandma which I liked was the fact she was very
down-to-earth and plain-speaking. There were no frills. She said what she
thought and would prefer to say things to people's faces rather than behind their
back. This attitude has rubbed off on me and I am much the same today. My
grandma was a truly wonderful lady and helped make me into the person I am
today.
8. BFF
My best friend and I have been studying in the same school since kindergarten.
We have been classmates each year at school. We share a very close bond and
have a special friendship that we cherish and treasure. My friend is my partner,
sitting beside me in class. She is kindly and helpful, and if I have any difficulties
in understanding any topic in my studies, or in completing my homework or
school project, she helps me. She is brilliant in mathematics and the sciences,
while I am good at English. So we both help each other in whatever way
possible. I greatly appreciate the quality in her. She does not make me feel
obliged. We travel to school on the same bus, and sometimes when we both miss
our bus, we go together to school in her car. Her mother is also friendly and
sweet. She loves to bake cakes and whip ice cream for us during our summer
vacations. As good friends, we enjoy being together.
9. YESTERDAY
yesterday was my very interesting Wenesday, i woke up at 6:00 am.then i
completed my daily routine. In between i got a call from my best friend.she
asked for shoping.i said yes for shoping. then i went to park for morning
exersice as usual. after having had bath,I got ready to move outside to enjoy
with my friends. There we enjoyed in Lotte Mall because we all were with good
mood to enjoy. after lunch we done our shoping at 5 o clock we thought that we
should go back home. And we came back home near about 6:30pm. Thus my
yesterday was very great..
10.YOUR FAMILY
My family is a small, tight-knit unit consisting of four members: my mom, dad,
my younger brother, and myself. We share a cozy home filled with love,
laughter, and support. Mom is the heart of our household, always nurturing and
caring for us with a warm smile. Dad, the pillar of strength, provides guidance
and stability, making our home a safe haven. My younger brother adds a spark
of energy and joy, bringing a sense of playfulness to our daily lives. Together,
we navigate life's ups and downs, creating cherished memories and a bond that
makes our family the foundation of our happiness.
11. FAVORITE ACTIVITY
Embarking on adventures together, travel has become the cherished heartbeat of
our family's collective spirit. From the exhilarating road trips that weave through
scenic landscapes to the cultural immersion experienced in bustling cities and
serene natural wonders, our journeys transcend mere vacations—they are
chapters in a shared narrative of discovery. Whether we find ourselves
traversing cobbled streets of historic towns, exploring vibrant markets, or simply
basking in the sun on a tranquil beach, the laughter, camaraderie, and shared
awe bind us in a tapestry of unforgettable memories. Each destination becomes a
playground for learning, fostering not only a deep appreciation for diverse
cultures but also strengthening the bonds that tie us as a family. As we navigate
the world together, our family's favorite activity, travel, unfolds as a source of
joy, education, and the embodiment of the timeless adage that the journey is as
important as the destination.
12. FAVORITE FOOD
In the vibrant realm of culinary delights, my favorite fare emerges as the humble
yet extraordinary salad. A symphony of colors, textures, and flavors, a well-
crafted salad is not just a dish; it is an ode to freshness and health. The crisp
crunch of lettuce leaves, the burst of juiciness from ripe tomatoes, and the earthy
notes of assorted vegetables create a harmonious medley that never fails to
tantalize my taste buds. Topped with a drizzle of zesty vinaigrette or a creamy
dressing, the salad transcends the ordinary, transforming into a culinary
masterpiece. Its versatility allows for endless creativity, from the inclusion of
nuts and seeds to the addition of succulent grilled proteins. Beyond its gustatory
pleasures, the salad embodies a commitment to well-being, making each forkful
a celebration of nourishment and vitality. As I indulge in the wholesome
goodness of my favorite salad, I savor not only its deliciousness but also the
sense of satisfaction that comes with embracing a health-conscious choice
13. RESTAURANT
Located on Ly Thuong Kiet street, Vi Lai is one of the famous vegan restaurants
in Hanoi, which quickly become familiar with the people in public and
vegetarians in particular. Not only want to bring the best vegan food to
everyone, Vi Lai vegetarian restaurant was founded with the mission to bring
"the unique vegetarian food experiences" to every diner who comes. At the
entrance you will be welcome by violinist and way to the dinning area is a
paradise with ponds fill with fishes, foggy and idols of lord Buddha. They are
three dining areas: outdoor, indoor and first floor with eye catching decorations.
The hospitality was good and presentation of the cuisine was excellent. The taste
of the food was good but it comes with little high price tags. The restaurant
serves vegetarian and vegan food. The restaurant has clean and well managed
dinning area and has rest room.,
