VACATIONS
Definitely, yes. I really love holidays because that’s when I get the opportunity to take a
break from my stressful work, let my hair down a little bit. Holidays are also an occasion for
family or friend gatherings.
It depends, Whenever I want to travel and explore the town, I usually like to go on vacation
with friends. For instance, playing thrilling games, participating in adventure sports, road
trips. On vacations like the New Year and Christmas holidays, I just want to celebrate with
my family and relatives in a cozy ambiance.
I frequently take my family to historical sites in the nation's capital, Hanoi, such as the
Temple of Literature and the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, or places of interest on the outskirts
of the capital: Fairy Stream and Silver Waterfall. In addition, I often visit far-flung
destinations with friends to explore different cultures in my country. These journeys
frequently don't have set destinations and have flexible itineraries.
On National Day this year, I rewarded myself with a Self-catering trip. I went to the stunning
island of Phu Quy, which has a wide variety of cuisines. It was also cool and comfortable
weather there. I engaged in many fascinating activities, such as diving to view coral. I was
able to release all of my pressure throughout the short three-day trip.

CINEMA
Personally, I’m into drama, action, and historical films. These genres tend to provide
captivating storylines and fascinating characters, while also shedding light on significant
events and social issues. Additionally, I appreciate the attention to detail and elaborate sets
that are often present in historical movies.
Honestly, when I was a kid, I only had a chance to watch Hollywood blockbusters broadcast
on HBO and cartoons shown on Disney Channel. I grew up watching those two TV channels.
I am pretty busy as a bee, but I still manage to watch one or two movies a month with friends
at the weekend. I adore going to the movies after a demanding workweek because it allows
me to experience an emotional roller coaster while viewing a variety of amazing and well-
written films.
I made two or three alone movie trips. Though a little isolating, it was a fun experience. The
films that I prefer to see by myself are typically slow-moving, thought-provoking films like
Soul Mate,..

BOOK
I’m exactly a voracious reader. I think books are very educational, and a great boon to
learning.
Every break after class, anytime I have free time, I usually spend reading a book.
The fragrance of the pages was one of the reasons I used to enjoy reading paper books so
much.
Nevertheless, as time went on, I also enjoyed reading books on an e-reader because it is
portable, convenient, and lacks bulk. When I was young, my favorite books were comics,
fairy tales, and romance novels but now I frequently read Classic literature and detective /
Crime solving.
Actually, there are many books I enjoy that have been converted into movies. One of those is
“Pride and Prejudice”.
The movies were a stupendous success and received a lot of positive feedback from viewers.
I would choose to read books if I had to choose.
I have complete freedom to visualize the book's contents in my thoughts and the capacity of
the author to convey the character's internal thought process is rarely accomplished flawlessly
in adaptations.

SHOPPING
Because I need to test the clothing on to make sure they fit, I have to buy them in person. For
high quality and long-term use, I tend to buy clothing from high street names.

My mother is the biggest shopper in our family. She frequently visits the market two or three
times a week to purchase household goods and ingredients for cooking.

Though I’m not a shopaholic, I still enjoy the activity itself so much. I have a taste for
wandering around shopping malls and doing some window shopping. I believe that buying
online is significantly more cost-effective and time-efficient than making in-person
purchases.

Hence I frequently shop online. Typically, I get books, cosmetics, and a few appliances for
the house. E-commerce platforms occasionally run discount sales around holidays, which
enables me to get my hands on a large number of goods at deeply discounted costs.

STUDY
Currently, I'm a sophomore at Ha Noi University. I'm studying to be certified to teach
German in the future because my major is English Education. My profession of work requires
effective knowledge transfer and communication skills.
The incentive for me to choose this university is that it is one of the best universities for
foreign language training with a perfect learning environment including experienced
lecturers, who are all subject specialists. In addition, the university offers state-of-the-art
facilities that greatly aid the learning process.
My major interests me because as learning foreign languages is one of my favorite things to
do, I want to expand my knowledge by picking up a new language. And my major gives me
a thorough understanding of German literature and culture. But it was also challenging when
I had to pick up one of the hardest languages on the planet. My decision to major in this area
was influenced in part because this is a high-potential career.
Without a doubt, I'll continue with my major. Since my chosen field truly appeals to me. My
major gives me a lot of opportunities I want to make greater contributions in my profession.

LIVE
Currently, I reside in the heart of Hanoi's capital, close to my university. Traffic is always
backed up in this busy neighborhood because there are a lot of grocery stores and beauty
services.

I’m living in a small apartment. It isn’t too spacious but it brings warm and cozy feelings to
me. Even though I typically have trouble with excessive traffic, I still think the building's
location is convenient because it is bordered by many important amenities. In addition, my
neighbors are incredibly cordial and always willing to provide a hand.

It’s definitely my bedroom (My bedroom is my favorite space in the house.). I'm free to do as
I please there without worrying about annoying or upsetting other people. I refer to it as my
safe haven or comfort zone. I want nothing more than to spend some alone time in my
bedroom, watching a movie or whatever, after a demanding and exhausting workday.

Since starting college, I have been residing here for two years. I had to move away from my
family and become self-sufficient. I used to find this city to be too loud, packed, and
claustrophobic, but I've grown accustomed to it now, and I enjoy the energy and people here.

It features two bedrooms, a living room, and a kitchen. The center of the room is the living
area, which has a TV and a sofa in front of the door. A glass door separates the living room
from the kitchen. On the left side are the two bedrooms, respectively. Since my faces
apartment is east, I can see the dawn every morning, even though the winter months are
rather chilly.
Sport
I enjoy playing and watching volleyball. It's a dynamic and fast-paced sport that requires both
physical and mental skills. I really adore the team element of it since it fosters
communication and togetherness. Also, playing volleyball helps me to stay fit and healthy,
which is important for my overall well-being.

I registered to play three times a week of volleyball at school. My school engaged seasoned
instructors to assist us in honing our skills. I also practice and play with friends on a daily
basis.

I spent a few years learning how to swim when I was younger, and I also played
neighborhood soccer with my pals. However, I don't swim as often these days. I enjoy
watching soccer in particular, but I only play for fun.

Absolutely, I think that students should to exercise more. Maintaining a healthy lifestyle and
enhancing general wellbeing require physical activity. Frequent exercise helps strengthen
cognitive function, lower stress levels, and increase concentration. It facilitates engaging and
healthful physical experiences for students. Students will bond better through team sports that
call for cooperation.

DAILY ROUNTINE

I’m not an early bird but I always try my best to get up as early as possible. So that I can have
more time to do everything I like. I work out for thirty minutes in the morning. My school
day begins at 8 a.m. and ends at 4:30 p.m. I work a part-time job at a coffee shop till 7:30 in
the afternoon on my days off. I usually relax by putting my mind at peace at 11:30 p.m. This
timeline is not set in stone, though. It depends on the amount of the duties I have.

Yes, I have. I used to work and study at night as I found it easier to concentrate, the silence at
night assists me in focusing on my work. I had to break this practice, though, because I had
morning lessons. Time was really challenging for me since I had trouble focusing in the
morning, which made me less productive at work. But now, It’s not what I’m comfortable
doing, but it’s not too bad to keep up with it.

Yes, it is. A proper daily routine will help me arrange your activities most sensibly. Without a
daily routine, I usually do things spontaneously, which could waste their time and reduce
mine work efficiency.
As I mentioned earlier, I used to be a night owl so I tended to prefer the night. However, I’ve
converted myself into an early riser and morning has become my favorite time of the day.
I've discovered that getting up early and adopting regular, healthy routines—such as eating
breakfast, exercising, and decompressing—help.

TALENTS
I think I have a knack for writing. I discovered this passion when I was in high school, and
since then, I’ve dedicated a lot of time to honing my writing skills. I took part in a writing
competition in high school and took second place. In addition, I received royalties for writing
articles for the daily "Hoa Hoc Tro". Besides, I compose content for several high school
events and activities.

Well, I don’t think I would ever master it but I guess I’ve always been really literature. When
I was in the seventh grade, my mother enrolled me in extra literature lessons after seeing my
potential as a writer. These classes provided me with a real leg up to hone my skill in writing.

Since I enjoy creating content, I think my writing ability will come in handy in the future. To
fully showcase my abilities, I hope to be able to work on projects involving screenplay
writing, event content, etc. in the future.

I’m not sure if anyone in my family has the same talent as me. We have different interests
and skills, so it’s hard to say. My family members have their unique abilities and passions.

public transportation
Even though I owned a motorcycle, I frequently took public transportation when I started
college to get to my job and school. I usually use the bus, but occasionally I also use the tram.
I frequently ride the bus to get to school and sometimes even to go around the city where I'm
studying. It's convenient, and I get to chat with fellow commuters or catch up on reading
during the ride and this would save me from the hassle of driving while I could have a quick
nap. Plus, it's an eco-friendly choice and, so I feel good about reducing my carbon footprint.

I would say no. Back in the day when I was a small child living in Vinh Phuc, which was
kinda underdeveloped, there used to be no mass transit system there. So, all I knew about the
so-called public transport was from the media. I even dreamed of having a chance to travel by
bus or train back then, but it was not until I went to my university in Hanoi did I first had my
experience with buses and stuff.

Well, based on the current situation of public transport use, it’s hard to predict whether it will
be used more in the future. But to be honest, I hope mass transit will be in use more. You
know, global warming is on the rise and the Earth is becoming more and more uninhabitable,
so I think public transportation is the only way to combat global warming and environmental
pollution.

My hometown didn't have as much public transit as larger cities when I was a kid. As a
result, I don't recall using public transit very often when I was younger—I think I took the
bus maybe twice. However, the buses were relatively ancient and Vietnam's public transit
infrastructure was not as well-constructed as it is now.

musical instrument
Oh yeah, I've dabbled in playing a musical instrument. When I was younger, I took some
guitar lessons, and it was a fun experience. Learning those chords and strumming patterns
was like unlocking a new language.

Well, it’s a pity that I didn’t. I’ve always wished I’d taken up a musical instrument. I’d love
to be able to play the guitar but I think I have no potential to play it. I’m a bit tone deaf so
perhaps I’d find it hard to put my idea into practice.

I'm not sure what kind of instruments people in our nation play, but I believe that ethnic
instruments like the flute, zither, and so on are the most widely used.

SPEAKING
Describe someone you know who is good at cooking
I'm grateful for this wonderful topic. I'll respond by talking about my friend Huong, who is
the best cook I've ever met. She has made me a lot of wonderful meals, I don't recall ever
having a bad meal from her. She works at one of the most popular and busiest restaurants in
my hometown even though she is only 25 years old.

I still remember the first day we got together, when I enrolled in a culinary class she was
teaching. We hit it off quickly after a few lessons since we had a lot in common, including a
love of movies and fashion. Huong has a pleasant voice, a round kind face, and a chubby
appearance. She nevertheless radiates elegance and grace despite frequently dressing simply
nicely for her career.
Her fish in sour soup is one of her best-ever recipes. She selects and expertly prepares the
freshest fish. Processing starts after the fish is cleaned. In addition to various veggies like
tomatoes and pineapples, the fish is cooked with a lot of spices. Huong makes her food
unique by using a proprietary recipe that she keeps to herself. Everything tastes tasty and
harmonious. I still want this dish even now, when I think back on it.
She cooks with great care, she is quite knowledgeable about various herbs and spices, and is
skilled at expertly blending them to produce a distinctive flavor. She loves to cook traditional
Vietnamese cuisine like Braised Fish in Clay Pot, Lotus delight salad,..Her food is not only
tasty but also exquisitely arranged. She never skimps on the flavor or quality of the cuisine
and always employs the freshest, highest-grade ingredients. so I think she’s a good cook.

Describe a person who just moved into your community and brought a positive influence
One person who recently moved into my community and brought a positive influence is Lan.
She transferred here from a nearby city approximately four months ago and quickly became
an integral part of our community.
She is six years my senior, at twenty-five. She relocated to my neighborhood in order to be
closer to her new workplace. When I first met Lan at a community meeting, I was struck by
how strong and confident she was as well as how vibrant she looked.
Lan has curly brown hair, white skin, and a well-proportioned body. Her voice is soft and her
smile is sweet. Lan has brilliant, bright eyes and a lively, intelligent face.
She strikes up a conversation with individuals right away and she makes a really genuine and
open first impression on people.
Since we see eye to eye on a wide range of topics, including society, education,..., we grew
close to one another very quickly. Lan is an extremely knowledgeable individual who also
exhibits a strong sense of perseverance. She makes a constant effort to pursue all of her
objectives. She's the kind of self-reliant woman I go after.
Lan's positive influence is expressed in many different ways.
Firts of all, she carried on starting a project to maintain the village's overall cleanliness and
greenery, clean up the area, add extra lamps to facilitate nighttime mobility. This has
contributed to a decrease in the number of evening accidents. Alternatively, another
charitable fund aids underprivileged local kids. Over twenty scholarships were given to these
kids.
Everybody has responded so positively to all of her endeavors. Her good projects really made
our community feel more connected, which also helped our neighborhood become cleaner
and more civilized.

Describe a popular person in your country

Celebrities have always attracted great public attention all over the world, and I’d like to tell
you about a renowned Vietnamese singer.

Her name is My Tam. and she’s been considered the most successful singer, songwriter, and
musical director in Vietnam for over two decades.

She won multiple accolades after making her stage debut in the late 1990s, including "Artist
of the Year" for two years in a row. Her album Endless Love, which sold thousands of copies
countrywide, had the song "Toc Nau Moi Tram," which I can still clearly recall how
infatuated I was with when I was a young child. My Tam is the V-Pop queen, which makes
sense. Her voice blends well into pop, dance, and rock genres and is deep, strong, and
distinctive.

She is well-known in Vietnam for her singing voice and musical abilities. The lyrics of My
Tam's music are deeply profound, easily memorized, and accessible to a wide audience. The
tune is also exceptionally well-written. Aside from that, she engages in various other social
activities, cultivates a charity called My Tam, and assists in several challenging
circumstances.

Describe someone you don’t know but would like to know more about

Well, there's an exceptional person whom I've never had the opportunity to meet in person,
but their life story has left a lasting impact on me. This remarkable individual is Jk Rolling
Joanne Rowling, better known by her pen name J. K. Rowling, was born on July 31, 1965.
She is an English author, screenwriter, philanthropist, and producer of films and television
shows. Her most well-known work is the fantasy novel series Harry Potter, which has sold
over 500 million copies and won numerous honors, making it the best-selling book series
ever. I first learned about Jk Rolling through reading Harry Potter.

I was struck by JK Rolling's vivid personal story in addition to her creative prowess.
According to some accounts, Rowling's life went from being "poor to rich" at the beginning
of her career because she needed government subsidies. She also had many life changes,
including the death of her mother, the birth of her first child, and the divorce of her first
husband.
Until, according to Forbes magazine, the success of the series Harry Potter. made her the first
billionaire writer in history. Rowling refuted this claim, asserting that she does not possess
billionaire status. According to Forbes, she has given up the majority of her fortune to
philanthropic causes, therefore she is no longer considered a billionaire. I love and respect
this woman much more because of this.
After learning more about her life and thoughts, I am impressed by her unwavering work
ethic, her ability to overcome adversity, and her generous spirit of always lending a helping
hand to others. We may learn a lot about people's boundless vitality in life from that.

Describe a person who always has interesting ideas or opinions

I would like to talk about a remarkable person in my life who always has interesting ideas
and opinions—my friend, Anh. She stands out as someone with a unique perspective on
various matters and is often sought after for her insightful thoughts.

Huyen Anh has white skin, dark eyes, long, straight hair, and a tiny build. She has two
incredibly lovely dimples that show when she grins. Since our earliest middle school years
together, we have been close since we share a lot of interests in common, such as reading,
watching movies, and listening to music. We also frequently listen to each other's thoughts.

When it comes to the projects we work on together, Huyen Anh always has amazing and
audacious ideas. She never tackles problems in a conventional manner; instead, she always
inspires us to think of fresh, intriguing solutions.
Together, we composed the text for a school extracurricular event. In order to draw in
everyone and make the program more distinctive—rather than just a speech performance—
H.A. came up with a ton of fresh and engaging content. Along with lots of activities and
thought-provoking questions, she incorporates technology into the curriculum. At that time,
the program was a huge success, and instructors and friends were praising it.

Furthermore, Thảo Anh has been selected time and time again as chief scriptwriter for school
functions and competitions. Our shows are made alive by her skill at narrating captivating
stories and her unique storytelling style. Our team has won first place in the school's cultural
and artistic competitions several times because of her creative ideas.

When I asked Thảo Anh about the source of her creative ideas, she attributed it to her
upbringing. She clarified that her parents had always pushed her to think creatively, see the
world from unusual perspectives, and constantly reinvent herself and her methods of
thinking. I greatly like her fearlessness in expressing her original ideas and her openness to
embracing different viewpoints.

Describe a person who always has interesting ideas or opinions

Today, I'm going to tell you about my friend Thao who is super passionate about helping
underprivileged children.
when I first met her in my college, I was struck by how strong and confident she was as well
as how vibrant she looked.
Lan has curly brown hair, white skin, and a well-proportioned body. Her voice is soft and her
smile is sweet. Lan has brilliant, bright eyes and a lively, intelligent face.
In terms of his personality, she is tenacious, intelligent and hardworking. she always makes
her parents proud of her by achieving so many scholarships from our college and businesses
as a whole.

Lan is a kind-hearted person and actively works for the communityShe is always available to
lend an ear and offer support during difficult times. Whether it's providing advice, comforting
someone in distress. she runs an English class that is totally free of charge for orphans or
those born to poor parents in his neighborhood. On top of that, she is also the president of
HAC, our university’s volunteering club. Once every six months, Lan and I, accompanied by
other club members, usually go on a long trip to a few mountainous areas in Vietnam to
provide minority children food, books, stationery and other necessities.

All in all, she is a real-life role model with many attributes that I can learn from.
