CREATIVE DANCE
Creative dances are original ideas and artistic works. They also show your
understanding on a thing. You may interpret it based on the emotions you draw from it.
You may move in any way you want based on the flow of your chosen music. You may
draw story and meaning from the music played depending on the beat.

DIFFERENT SKILLS INVOLVED IN THE DANCE
Creative dance is a dance that uses improvised movements to
communicate an idea, thought, or feeling. A dancer can interpret his ideas and
emotions through the different dance movements.
Creative dances use locomotor skills like walking, running, and
sometimes combination of skills.
Basic Body Movements in Dance
Bend or flex – body moving around a wide
Walk – step in directions
