ABOUT
The Indonesian Global Internship Program is the Government of
Indonesia scholarship scheme to fund Indonesian students for
internships at top companies and organizations overseas.
Undergraduate and applied bachelor/vocational students could
spend one semester (4-6 months) at the overseas company and
organization partners to practice what they have learned in a real
world, gain a better understanding of industries, companies and
careers, innovate and get creative in solving problems, and
experience work culture in different countries.
The scheme is centrally managed by Directorate General of Higher
Education(DGHE), Ministry of Education and Culture (MoECRT) and is
open for undergraduate and vocational students from all Indonesian
higher education institutions under MoECRT.

CRITERIA FOR PARTNER COMPANIES &
INTERNATIONAL ORGANIZATIONS
General
IGIP partner companies/organizations must:
1. be registered/recognized in their country
2. have been in operation for at least 5 years
3. be ranked in top 300 in their country in terms of market
capitalization
4. be international organization with operation in different
countries
5. have experience in hosting intern students
6. provide English speaking mentors for the intern students
7. be flexible in developing the program

CRITERIA FOR PARTNER COMPANIES &
INTERNATIONAL ORGANIZATIONS
Specific
IGIP partner companies/organizations must:
1. Organize project-oriented learning opportunities with the following requirements:
● Students do internships for one semester
● The internship must meet IGIP’S expected learning outcomes.
● Students spend on semester (4-6 months)
2. Provide assessment, certificate of participation and student progress report issued
upon completion.
3. Provide information about internship opportunities such as title, department,
division, location, internship topic, period of assignment, expected outcomes, and
requirements such as education requirements, relevant experience, English
Proficiency, etc.
4. Accept TOEFL iBT, IELTS and Duolingo Tests.
5. Agree to accept list of IGIP awardees. No additional selection process by host
companies/organizations is required.

Job description:
Interns will work closely with DOC staff on ADB climate change communications tactics,
content and message development.
Specifically: (1) assist with drafting press releases, articles and feature stories that help
explain complex climate change issues to a general audience in plain language, (2)
assist with drafting talking points for key spokespeople, (3) pitch ADB stories and
spokespeople to local and regional, and international media, (4) design and execute a
short social media campaign on one of ADB’s digital platforms, including for social
media and websites, (5) assist with producing creative multimedia content, with an
emphasis on visual storytelling, for ADB’s digital platforms, including for social media and
websites, (6) assist with localizing content and messaging for ADB’s country offices.
