Reflection on Rizal Isang Bayani:

A national hero of the Philippines, Jose Rizal was the main focus of the video I watched, which
attempted to capture the true purpose of his persona and spirit. It revealed details about Rizal's
upbringing, life's journey, and ideals. On June 19, 1861, Rizal was born in Calamba. Throughout his life,
he overcame many obstacles and achieved many successes.

I discovered more about Rizal's upbringing as I watched the video. His mother, whom he adored
and referred to as Lolay, was crucial to his early education. Rizal was taught to read, pray, and do
household chores by his mathematician mother. A strong relationship between Rizal and his mother was
cultivated by this nurturing environment. Rizal's father, Francisco Mercado, who gave his kids an
education, also had an impact on him. Rizal demonstrated early talent in asuete and uling-based painting
and sculpture. Additionally, his yaya (nanny) told him mythology tales from the Philippines, which
aroused his interest and imagination.

I can relate to Rizal's life journey in a number of ways. First of all, as a student, I am motivated by
his commitment to education and lifelong learning. Rizal studied abroad when he was young due to his
desire for knowledge. In a similar vein, I value education's ability to change lives and work to broaden my
horizons in order to develop into a well-rounded person. In addition, Rizal's unwavering dedication to
advancing his nation and people inspires me as a potential professional. His writings, including
"Pagtatangol sa Kultura at Pagkatao ng mga Pilipino," emphasized how crucial it is for Filipinos to
embrace their identity, dignity, and rights. I am reminded to work for social change and uphold the
values of fairness and inclusivity by Rizal's support for social justice and equality.

In light of my reflection on Rizal's journey, I am motivated to pursue my personal goals. I'll keep
seeking knowledge and aiming for academic excellence as a student. I will actively look for opportunities
to increase my knowledge of various cultures, histories, and viewpoints because I believe that education
is a potent force for both individual development and societal change. In addition, I will continue to be
dedicated to having a positive impact on society as a future professional. I'll promote inclusivity, fight for
others' rights and welfare, and support the growth of my neighborhood. By following Rizal's lead, I'm
inspired to take on new challenges, persevere in the face of hardship, and work to improve everyone's
future.

It has been a beneficial experience to think about Rizal's life and principles. It has made me
realize how crucial it is to uphold my moral principles, pursue education, and work for social change. The
life of Rizal serves as a source of inspiration for me, directing my efforts toward achieving academic
success and developing into a kind and effective professional. Jose Rizal's life journey as a national hero,
scholar, and visionary serves as a strong source of inspiration. As a student and future professional, his
values of education, social justice, and love of country deeply resonate with me. I aspire to be a
successful student who can make a positive contribution to society and work to build a better future for
my fellow citizens by taking after Rizal's dedication and tenacity.
