TOURNAMENT RULES

 Eligibility: Open to all players.

 System: The tournament will be conducted as per FIDE Laws of Chess and FIDE Swiss
System with 9 rounds.

 Time Control: 90 minutes for each player with 30 seconds increment from move 1.

 Tie-Break: In case of a tie, the latest FIDE Rules shall come in to effect.

 AICF Registration: Before submitting the entry, players must be registered with AICF for the
year 2024-2025. AICF Registration link: https://prs.aicf.in/players

 SBDS Registration: SBDS registration for the year 2024-2025 is mandatory for West Bengal
players. SBDS Registration link: https://www.sbdschess.in/player-registration.php

 Electronic Devices: All electronic items including wrist watches (all type of watches) are not
allowed in the tournament hall.

 Protests: Protests, if any, should be made in writing with a protest fee of Rs.1000/- within 15
minutes from the end of the relevant session. Appeals Committee, formed by the organizers will
give their final judgment.

 Organisers reserve the right to reject any entry without assigning any reason and to make
necessary changes to the rules pertaining to the tournament.
