TOURNAMENT RULES
Eligibility: Open to all players.
System: The tournament will be conducted as per FIDE Laws of Chess and FIDE Swiss
System with 9 rounds.
Time Control: 90 minutes for each player with 30 seconds increment from move 1.
Tie-Break: In case of a tie, the latest FIDE Rules shall come in to effect.
AICF Registration: Before submitting the entry, players must be registered with AICF for the
year 2023-2024. AICF Registration link: https://prs.aicf.in/players
SBDS Registration: Before SBDS registration for the year 2023-2024 is mandatory for West
Bengal players. SBDS Registration link: https://forms.gle/nMyML3jnzhqrw7cT7
Electronic Devices: All electronic items including wrist watches (all type of watches) are not
allowed in the tournament hall.
Protests: Protests, if any, should be made in writing with a protest fee of Rs.1000/- within 15
minutes from the end of the relevant session. Appeals Committee, formed by the organizers will
give their final judgment.
Organisers reserve the right to reject any entry without assigning any reason and to make
necessary changes to the rules pertaining to the tournament.
