Camera moves past dead body after Dead body. Come behind shoulder of a man holding a gun pointed at
another man holding a gun to the head of a woman in her 30s/40s. The wall is destroyed. Paper flutters around the
office. We are in a high-rise. A helicopter approaches

[Rex Hammer - Cop]

Wife winks, and elbows the villain

He falls back, misses the rope but grabs the wife

He falls, she falls. In the distance you can hear church bells signalling Christmas Day

2. LA. Now. Rushhour

Gun fire. 6 people dressed as Santas are running through the traffic firing automatic weapons

[Danny Tong, Rookie Cop] arrives in a police car with his TO.

“Get out, take cover boot”

Your TO, Michelle Lopez makes a run for one of the Santas and tackles him

They scuffle and Lopez pulls his beard down. You can tell she recognises his face.

There is a series of gun shots and she goes limp.

The santas pile into 2 cars and escape.

You get to Lopez. She is bleeding badly. The bullets have missed or penetrated her vest.

4 - Lopez’ Funeral

You’ve been removed from the case and stood down, pending an investigation.

After the Funeral you go to talk to her Mother.

“She was so proud of you - only 1 week from completing your probation. I know you’ll have done what you
could. She trained you well. It’s not right what they are doing to you”
