DUNNING KRUGER Effect

The Dunning-Kruger effect occurs when incompetent people overestimate their abilities. They lack the expertise to recognize their own lack of skills and mistakes. People with moderate skills are more likely to accurately evaluate their abilities and have less confidence since they understand how much they still have to learn. To assess your true abilities, seek feedback from more knowledgeable others and recognize the complexity of tasks rather than relying solely on your self-assessment.
