Start to crochet with a flesh thread, stuff not tightly up the 8th row.
1 rnd: 6 sc in MR How to make this row look at the link
2 rnd: 6 inc (12) https://youtu.be/6wKVzWYnZ9A.

9 rnd: 10 sc in the back loops of the 8th row and connect the edges by 4 sc. Cut a thread, leaving a
loops of the 7th row together long end for sewing.
ASSEMBLY AND DECORATIONS
Sew the head to the body. In the course of sewing stuff the neck very tightly, so as the head doesn’t
dangle because of its heaviness. How to sew the head to the body look at the link
https://youtu.be/u_wYwIkTjKg.
                                                       7
If you haven't used the eyes with stalks, it’s time to glue them. I use eyes with stulks, but glue them.
I like it better this way, because the plug doesn’t interfere with the design of the face in the future, and a
thread “doesn’t run” under the glued eye.
Firstly mark the points 1 and 2 between the 18th and 19th rows of the head (the space between points
is 10 sc). Now take a thick knitting needle or something similar (I use knitting needle No5.5 (5.5 mm)) and-
start to gradually expand the crocheted fabric at these points. How to do this look at the link
https://youtu.be/dRs86ogCpX8.
                                                       8
Now take glue and drip inside the resulting hole. Also, lubricate the inner surface of the eye with
glue. Insert the eyes there and press on them, wait a couple of minutes. How to do this look at the link
https://youtu.be/Agh53qKB5fY.
Embroider the whites of the eyes with a white thread (I use whole thread Yarn Art Jeans). Embroi-
der the nose with a flesh thread (I use a whole thread Alize Cotton Gold, the same as when crocheting the
head) between the 19th and 20th rows of the head, the width of the nose is 3 sc. Embroider the cheeks with
a red thread (I use a thread Alize Cotton Gold, 2 threads of 4) between the 20 th and 21st rows, the width of
the cheek is 2 sc. Embroider the mouth and brows with a black sewing thread (2 threads).
                                                      9
Make the strands. To do this, turn the toy upside down and attach a yellow thread to the 40th front
loop of the 13th row. Make chain 19 ch, insert the hook in the 2nd loop from the hook, and crochet 18 sc. Fur-
ther crochet sl st in the 41st front loop of the head and 1 more sl st in the next 42nd front loop of the head.
Crochet the next thread, i.e. make chain 19 ch, insert the hook in the 2nd loop from the hook, and crochet 18
sc, make sl st in the next front loop and 1 more sl st in the next loop. Thus, crochet another 20 strands.
There should be 22 strands in total. After the last 22nd strand, crochet only one sl st. Cut a thread, fasten
off. The strands should be glued (or sewn), but I advise to postpone this until the cloak is sewn. How to cro-
chet the strands look at the link https://youtu.be/sJZopSTCp78.
                                                       10
Now make out the edge of the helmet. To do this, attach a gray thread to the 1st front loop of the
12th row and crochet 66 sl st. Cut a thread, fasten off.
                                                      11
Sew the arms between the 27th and 28th rows of the body (I recommend first steaming the unfilled
part of the arms). How to sew the arms look on example at the link https://youtu.be/NxPpn2gnqxU.
Crochet the belt with a yellow thread. To do this, make chain 54 ch and sl st to join in the end. Make
2 ch and crochet 54 hdc (1 hdc in each loop), sl st to join in the end. Cut a thread, leaving a long end for sew-
ing.
Sew the belt to the body between the 9th and 12th rows. How to do this look at the link
https://youtu.be/raQ8O6zC5X8.
                                                       12
Crochet 4 circles with a gray thread. To do this, crochet 2 ch, 10 hdc in MR, sl st to join in the end.
Tighten the ring, cut the yarn, fasten off. Sew or glue the circles to the body as it’s shown at the photo (I
glue).
                                                        13
Crochet the cloak with a red thread. Make chain 21 ch, insert the hook in the 2nd loop from the hook
and crochet according to the scheme in back-and-forth rows:
1 rnd: 20 sc, turn the crocheting
2 rnd: 1 ch, 1 sc, inc, 16 sc, inc, 1 sc, turn the crocheting (22)
3-4 rnd: ch, 22 sc, turn the crocheting (2 rows)
5 rnd: 1 ch, 1 sc, inc, 18 sc, inc, 1 sc, turn the crocheting (24)
6-7 rnd: 1 ch, 24 sc, turn the crocheting (2 rows)
8 rnd: 1 ch, 1 sc, inc, 20 sc, inc, 1 sc, turn the crocheting (26)
9-10 rnd: 1 ch, 26 sc, turn the crocheting (2 rows)
11 rnd: 1 ch, 1 sc, inc, 22 sc, inc, 1 sc, turn the crocheting (28)
12-13 rnd: 1 ch, 28 sc, turn the crocheting (2 rows)
14 rnd: 1 ch, 1 sc, inc, 24 sc, inc, 1 sc, turn the crocheting (30)
15-16 rnd: 1 ch, 30 sc, turn the crocheting (2 rows)
17 rnd: 1 ch, 1 sc, inc, 26 sc, inc, 1 sc, turn the crocheting (32)
18-19 rnd: 1 ch, 32 sc, turn the crocheting (2 rows)
20 rnd: 1 ch, 1 sc, inc, 28 sc, inc, 1 sc, turn the crocheting (34)
21-22 rnd: 1 ch, 34 sc, turn the crocheting (2 rows)
23 rnd: 1 ch, 1 sc, inc, 30 sc, inc, 1 sc, turn the crocheting (36)
24 rnd: 1 ch, 36 sc, turn the crocheting
Crochet 1 row of sc around the perimeter of the cloak, in the corners of the cloak crochet one in-
crease. Cut a thread, fasten off. How to do this look at the link https://youtu.be/0FiFjKtmh1U.
                                                        14
Sew the cloak to the last row of the body as it’s shown at the photo and video. I recommend you
firstly mark with pins where the edges of the cloak should be located. How to sew the cloak to the body look
at the link https://youtu.be/npx9YqBmUOE.
                                                     15
Now that the cloak is sewn on, you can glue the strands. I use a hot glue gun for this.
Let's start crocheting the wings for the helmet. Make them with a white thread in back-and-forth
rows.
RIGHT WING (looking at the back of the head)
Make chain 7 ch, insert the hook in the 2nd loop from the hook, further crochet according to the
scheme:
1 rnd: 6 sc, turn the crocheting
2-3 rnd: 1 ch, 4 sc, turn the crocheting (2 rows)
4-5 rnd: 1 ch, 2 sc, turn the crocheting (2 rows)
Crochet along the edge of the wing 3 sc, sl st. Cut a thread, leaving a long end for sewing.
How to make this detail look at the link https://youtu.be/HW0FKbgdEbI.
LEFT WING (looking at the back of the head)
Make chain 3 ch, insert the hook in the 2nd loop from the hook, further crochet according to the
scheme:
1 rnd: 2 sc, turn the crocheting
        2 rnd: 1 ch, 2 sc + 3 ch, turn the crocheting
3 rnd: 4 sc, turn the crocheting
        4 rnd: 1 ch, 4 sc + 3 ch, turn the crocheting
        5 rnd: 6 sc
Crochet along the edge of the wing 3 sc, sl st. Cut a thread, leaving a long end for sewing.
How to make this detail look at the link https://youtu.be/ixPJhwYE3oE.
Sew the wings at the edge of the helmet on the sides symmetrically to each other.
                                                        16
It’s left to crochet the hammer. Start with the main detail. Make it with a gray thread, stuff tightly
in the course of crocheting.
1 rnd: 1 sc in MR
       2 rnd: 6 inc (12)
       3 rnd: (1 sc, inc)*6 (18)
4 rnd: 18 sc for the bk lp
       5-14 rnd: 18 sc (10 rows)
15 rnd: (1 sc, dec)*6 for the bk lp (12)
       16 rnd: 6 dec
Cut a thread, tighten the opening,
hide the end of the thread in the detail.
                                                     17
Start crocheting the hammer handle. Make it with a brown thread.
1 rnd: 6 sc in MR
       2-9 rnd: 6 sc (8 rows)
Cut a thread, leaving a long end for sewing. Stuff the detail. Sew it to the main detail.
It remains to make the loop on which the hammer on Thor's arm will be held. To do this insert the
hook in the handle of the hammer, attach to this detail a brown thread, make chain 16 ch, insert the hook in
the handle from the opposite side and make 1 sl st. Cut a thread, fasten off, hide the end of the thread.
                                                      18

                                Thor is ready!
I hope it will bring a lot of joy to little (and maybe not so much) Marvel fans!
