                  - While this is true, as far as ‘story time’ goes it’s better to
actually sit with your child and watch the story with

               - Anyway, the point is that transmedia storytelling
creates narratives that aren’t over when you close the
book, or switch off your laptop, or unplug your
headphones. It allows fans to actively participate in
the narratives and also build communities with other

2. Why do some companies ask their staff to wear uniforms?
Uniform helps the workers bring a sense of identity within the company
and the organization. It also achieves for them a sense of belonging.
Wearing the same clothes would lead to a feeling of team spirit, and
make the employees feel that they are a part of the company. This
enables the employees to be more into the company and be more active
inside the company. It also increases a feeling of loyalty and allegiance
from the employees towards the company. It doesn’t matter if they are rich
or poor while working for a company, everyone is treated just the same.
Hence, uniform brings people from all backgrounds onto one platform.
3. What are the advantages and disadvantages of having uniforms at work?
Well, Putting on formal attire will have both adverse effects and merits.
On the one side, uniforms are feasible to reduce the barriers that exist
between students, colleagues. To illustrate more clearly, by establishing a
uniform policy, it becomes possible to equalize the learning situation
because there are fewer visual differences. On the other hand, the
requirement to wear uniforms might limit self-expression opportunities.
It would mean that people do not grasp any chance to opt for all-time
favourite clothes to wear to match their personality.
4. When do people wear traditional clothing in your country?
Every Tet holiday, Vietnamese people remember traditional values such as banh
chung, pot of stewed meat, watermelon, and pomelo. In addition, dressing well to
celebrate Tet is also one of the traditional values for many generations. With its
tenderness and charm, the Ao Dai is always chosen every tet holiday. The image of
mothers and sisters leisurely moving in Ao Dai to relax in Spring, pagoda ceremony,
and walking around is a beautiful and impressive image.
Not only during holidays and weddings but also Ao Dais appear in daily life in the
high schools in Vietnam. Teachers can wear any style and color they like, except for
those that are revealing and colorful. Schoolgirls always wear discreet styles and
white color. The white Ao Dai reminds each female student to know how to preserve
words and actions in accordance with the gentle traditional culture of Vietnamese
girls. The Ao Dais make the schools and streets become more beautiful and poetic.
5. How have clothes fashions change in your country over the last few
decades?
Why do fashions change? The answer is probably as simple as the fact that
people change. Over time, the new replaces the old. People are influenced
by popular culture, including athletes, musicians, movie stars, social
media, and royalty. They also pay attention to what people wear in popular
films, television shows, online videos, books, and music. We also are
influenced by the fashion industry’s advertising.
The stars of popular culture don’t remain stars by doing the same things
over and over again. Instead, they’re always searching for a new angle to
maintain their popularity. Often these new angles come in the form of new
clothing or hairstyles.
When people see these new styles, they often want to imitate their favorite
stars. To do so, they seek out the latest fashions—clothes, shoes, jewelry,
etc.—to make themselves look like the people they want to be like. In this
way, fashions constantly change over time.
6. What is the difference between clothes that young people and old people
like to wear?
That depends on people’s age. For the elderly or the middle-aged demographics in Hanoi, I
would say their clothing is quite casual and very suitable for the weather. Hanoi’s weather is
very erratic so it’s completely understandable why people would choose to prioritize
function. On the other hand, the youngster, it’s more about aesthetics than practicality.
These days, the youth have an urge to express themselves, and appearance would is such a
great way for them to do so. These days, for people of my age, you can see their clothes tend
to have a very bold designs, lots of colours, different silhouettes. Overall, it’s just more
diverse. So I do think that’s the main difference.

SAMPLES:
1. How do most people get their news in your country?
well, a large majority of Vietnamese people assess current events from their
digital devices, like smartphones, laptops, or tablets /ˈtæblət/, rather than TV.

and current events by using social media, like Facebook and Twitter, but
social media is not really a credible news source as there are so many/ a
proliferation of fake news online, so I think we need to fact-check sources of
information.
2. How do you think people will get their news in the future?
Well, I’ve never thought about this before, but I suppose they will still assess
breaking news from social media, as it will still be the leading source of news.
The reason is that people are obsessed with their social media accounts rather
than traditional forms of media, like TV, radio or print. For example, young
people are more likely to use their smartphones to keep up to date with the news
on the go, while abandoning print newspapers as they won’t love the idea of
carrying a newspaper around and most of what is printed is already on the
Internet yesterday.
3. Do you believe everything you read in the newspapers?
Well, after the Ex-President of the US Donald Trump accused all mainstream
media of dishonesty, spreading falsehoods, misrepresenting facts, distorting
news, and passing on inaccuracies, I’ve lost my trust in newspapers. The
reason is that I’m quite concerned about the political bias, spin, and hidden
agendas in most kinds of newspapers. The news media and the government as
well as big companies have created a charade /ʃəˈrɑːd/that serves their own
interests but misleads the public. For example, there has undoubtedly been a
proliferation of fake news stories around potential cures for COVID-19, the
origins of the outbreak, and authorities’ responses to the pandemic.
4. How has social media changed the way we get and share the news?
Well, these days the majority of the population tends to shift away from
traditional media sources for their news and are moving more towards social
media and messaging services to find the news. Long gone are the days of
people getting most of their news from a local TV station, local newspaper or
the national newscast from one of the networks. Now we often use different
social platforms, like Facebook, Twitter to gather news information. But
most people who share what is happening on social media never stop to check
the facts. People tend to trust what they read in the news, because low and
behold, it’s the news, which is written by trained journalists, which might
spread a series of hoaxes /həʊks/ in public.
