Brief about the event: Under AICTE activity point program on social awareness related activities for the
current academic year & motivate the students to inculcate the team work and self-confidence.
Swachh Bharat Abhiyan is a national cleanliness campaign established by the Government of India. The
word cleanliness primarily means the absence of filth and dirt in our surroundings. ‘Cleanliness’, just the word
creates a pristine feeling in one’s mind. The mind is invigorated with cheer. The institution of the School does
the noble task of inculcating this habit of worshiping beauty in the form of cleanliness. In the journey towards
prosperous India, the first step begins with cleanliness. Along with our body & mind, we also need to take
responsibility of keeping our surroundings clean.
The department undertaken a swatch Bharat mission in College surroundings. Computer Science and
Engineering department final year students along with faculty members were actively participated in
Swachatha Abhiyan. The students of Computer Science and Engineering Department cleaned up the college
surroundings.
The help of local municipal corporation was taken to dispose the waste materials. Students also visited the
school and given the awareness of swachh Bharath and plastic awareness.

Importance of Education: Education is a weapon to improve one’s life. It is probably the most
important tool to change one’s life. Education for a child begins at home. It is a lifelong process.
Education certainly determines the quality of an individual’s life. Education improves one’s
knowledge, skills and develops the personality and attitude. Most noteworthy, Education affects the
chances of employment for people. A highly educated individual is probably very likely to get a
good job.
We the Students of Computer Science and Engineering Department , Jain College of Engineering
and Research took the initiative to visit the government school no.20 to create the awareness of
importance of Education. We interacted with the students and encouraged them for studying hard to
become whatever they desire. The students showed their interest in various fields. The session was
interactive leading to a successful activity.

Importance of Digitization: Digitalization business model greatly improves operational efficiency
which leads to better productivity. Automation of all the processes in a business helps reduce
manpower, saves time, and improves overall quality. Errors on the part of humans can be avoided to
a large extent in the digitalization business model. The main objectives of digital transactions are to
reduce the costs and risks of handling cash, increase the ease of conducting online transactions, and
increase transparency among monetary transactions among people. A digital transaction is a
seamless system involving one or more participants, where transactions are effected without the need
for cash. The digital transaction involves a constantly evolving way of doing things where financial
technology (fintech) companies collaborate with various sectors of the economy for the purpose of
meeting the increasingly sophisticated demands of the growing tech-savvy users. Implementing
technology in the financial industry is a necessity for the survival of businesses as customers seek
lower-cost alternatives to traditional financial services. Fintech companies have led the revolution in
transforming the financial sector by digitalizing the end-client’s transactional eco-system.
We the Students of Computer Science and Engineering Department , Jain College of Engineering
and Research took the initiative to visit the local shops in Belagavi to create the awareness of
importance of Digitization in business. We taught the locals how to use the payment Apps PhonePay
or GooglePay and showed them how the process works. After this the owners of the shop were able
to use these apps and were able to understand the process. They also learned how to make use of
Scanners which is easier for the customers to initiate the payments.
