Leave and Public Holiday Policy

comScore Technologies India Private Limited (“Comscore”) recognises the need for its employees to
accommodate their personal arrangements and take time off work. Employees are entitled to the leave
summarised in this Policy, subject to the eligibility and criteria set out below. This Policy is applicable to all
employees of “Comscore”. All the leaves prescribed in this Policy are based on a calendar year.

Privilege and Casual leave must be requested by an employee and approved (in advance of the effective
date) by the manager, via Comscore’s HRIS, Workday. All other leaves must be communicated to the
employees’ manager and / or to the HR Department.

Privilege Leave

• Employees are entitled to 13 days of privilege leave, earned on an accrual basis.


• Untaken privilege leave may be carried over to the following year and employees are entitled to
encash accrued privilege leave only at the time of termination / resignation.

Casual Leave

• Employees are entitled to 12 days of casual leave, earned on an accrual basis.


• Untaken casual leave may be carried over to the following year and employees are entitled to
encash accrued casual leave only at the time of termination / resignation.

Sick Leave

• Employees are entitled to 12 days of sick leave.


• Untaken sick leave may not be carried over to the following year.
• Employees are entitled to encash accrued sick leave at the time of termination / resignation.

Paternity Leave

• Employees who have completed at least 12 months of service, are entitled to 2 days of paternity
leave. Paternity leave must be taken in the first month following the birth of a child.
• Untaken paternity leave may not be carried over to the following year or encashed at any point.

Bereavement Leave

• Employees may be granted 1 day of bereavement leave on the death of an immediate family,
defined as an employee’s spouse, parent, children, brothers, sisters.
• Untaken bereavement leave may not be carried over to the following year or encashed at any point.

Marriage Leave

• Employees who have completed at least 12 months of service, are entitled to 1 day of marriage
leave. Marriage leave must be taken on the day of the wedding.
• Untaken marriage leave cannot be carried over to the following year or encashed at any point.

Maternity Leave

Employees who have been employed for a minimum of 80 days in the preceding 12 months immediately
before the date of expected delivery, are entitled to paid maternity leave per the provisions of the Maternity
Benefit Act, 1961 (the “MB Act”).

• Employees with less than 2 children are entitled to 26 weeks (not more than 8 (eight) weeks shall
precede the date of expected delivery).
• Employees with 2 or more children are entitled to 12 weeks (not more than 6 (six) weeks shall
precede the date of expected delivery).

Additional Pregnancy / Birth Related Leave

• If a female employee miscarries, she is entitled to 6 (six) weeks of leave with full pay. The leave
should be applied immediately.
• If a female employee suffers from illness arising out of pregnancy, delivery, premature birth of child,
miscarriage, medical termination of pregnancy or tubectomy operation, she is entitled to an
additional period of 1 month’s leave with full pay.
• In case of a tubectomy operation, female employees are entitled to 2 (two) weeks of leave with full
pay immediately following the day of the tubectomy operation.
• Female employees who have at least 80 days of service with Comscore in the preceding 12 months
prior to the expected date of the child’s placement are entitled to up to 12 weeks of Adoption leave
with full pay upon the legal adoption of a child below 3 months old.
• A female employee who has a child through surrogacy, is entitled to paid leave for a period of 12
weeks from the date when the child is handed over to her.
• Where applicable, a certificate from a registered medical practitioner must be submitted to the HR
Department. In addition, any declared / public holidays and weekly holidays within this period shall
be counted as part of the leave entitlements outlined above.

Public Holidays

Employees are entitled to 10 holidays on national holidays and festivals. Comscore will communicate the
days at the beginning of the calendar year.
