industry through its commitment to continuous improvement. CarMax exemplifies the
integration of continuous improvement principles into its organizational culture by
consistently seeking ways to enhance its processes, customer experiences, and employee
capabilities. In this analysis, we explore the link between continuous improvement and
organizational change within CarMax, examining external and internal forces driving its
commitment to ongoing enhancement. Furthermore, we delve into CarMax's strategic
utilization of talent management practices to foster continuous learning and loops. We also
identify the primary organizational development interventions embedded in its approach to
fostering learning for continuous improvement.
1) Continuous Improvement and Organizational Change:
Continuous improvement is deeply intertwined with organizational change, representing a
proactive approach toward refining organizational processes, systems, and practices. While
