THE FAMILY TRIP

Valerie(Molly Victor) : The mother that cares for her children but doesn't like to
waste money and is very kind.
Mark(Malek Mahmoud) : The middle 14 year old child that loves the beach and is a
courageous and an adventurous person.
Alan(Omar Mohamed) : The father that is okay with everything that his children and
wife want.
Eleanor(Ghazal Bahaa): The oldest 17 year old child that doesn't like to go out and
is a very peaceful person and does not like to stress.
Harry(Yassin Mostafa): The youngest 11 year old child that's polite and doesn't
disrespect anyone.

SCENE 1

One day a family in Boston wanted to travel somewhere together because the children
had finished school and it was summer.

Alan : So I was thinking we should go to Canada,what do you think everyone.


Mark : (disagreeing) Dad it's summer!Canada isn't a place to go in summer.
Valerie : (convinced) Yeah I agree with Mark,I think we should go somewhere else.
Alan : Alright, does anyone have any suggestions?
Harry : (politely) I would just like to travel I don't mind anywhere.
Mark : We should go to Hawaii it's going to be so cool in summer right guys?
Eleanor : No way it's too crowded let's go to a more peaceful place that people
don't go to that much like Iceland!
Mark : (mockingly) Iceland? I never even heard of that so definitely not!
Valerie : Mark we can't go to Hawaii it's too expensive.
Alan : There's nothing to do in Iceland Eleanor.
They keep arguing and can't decide on something.

SCENE 2

Eleanor : Ugh fine then Spain.


Mark : I'm pretty sure there isn't even a beach there.
Eleanor : Um yes there is!
Valerie : Yeah there are many.
Harry : Spain is nice.
Mark : But I don't wanna go there!
Eleanor : (irritated) Can you stop complaining for once?
Mark scowls.
Harry : You don't have to be rude Eleanor.
They're too indecisive and can't stop at something they all would like.

SCENE 3

Alan : Guys we have to decide on something everyone will be okay with.


Eleanor rolls her eyes.
Mark : What about Japan?
Harry : I've always wanted to go there.
Valerie : (considering) Hm,actually it's a good idea,it's affordable and very
beautiful,and it has a beach.
Alan : Yeah it's good I agree too,it all comes down to Eleanor.
Eleanor : If we can find somewhere peaceful and away from the crowd there then
fine.
Valerie : (happily) Great!
Alan : (exhausted) Finally we decided on something!
Eleanor : Yeah finally.
Mark : I'm excited for the beach!
Harry : (excitedly)Me too!
Valerie : Okay everyone go pack their bags,we're heading to Japan tomorrow morning!
