Stranded Cushion Covers
Stranded Cushion Covers
Stranded cushion covers need just two things. A basic design and choice of colours to suit
your taste. When you choose your colours, make sure they are sufficiently contrasting. If
you are not sure, take a picture of your yarn in black and white to check. If this is your first
stranded project, check out colour dominance.
For me, I originally only made these to use up some left over yarn from my dining chair
project and, if I say so myself, I think they turned out pretty well. They’re meant to be a
snug fit so the cushions a nice and plump. If you prefer a looser fit, you could up a needle
size or use a thicker yarn to achieve the desired size.
