Dear Madam,
Subject : Request to reconsider my deputation order
Wish you a merry Christmas! I hope that this letter finds you in best of health and spirit.
My purpose of writing is to let you know about few serious concern of mine and to request
you to reconsider/redesign my deputation order on the basis of those concerns.
Madam, I have been working as a diligent Employee since a span of ______ years in this
prestigious Organisation.
Very unfortunately, I am finding it non-feasible for me to move to another city on an instant
basis due to following concerns:-
1.My wife has undergone a brain tumour operation in 2020 and still encounters serious
medical problems on a frequent basis – which needs emergency medical attention and
intervention on an immediate basis. Thus presence of the only male in the family (which is
me ) in these situations becomes essential.
2. My wife is a working lady- thus has to attend her office despite her medical complications
and cannot shift her base out of Kolkata.
3. My daughter is only 4 year old,and attends a very renowned and top school in Kolkata so
transfer of School will ruin their future – Since my wife has some medical issues -the major
responsibility depends on me in their growing up days.
4. We have two completely dependent member in our family, one is my Aunty(Bua) who is
elderly (84 yr Old) and with many serious medical complications and another one is my
Sister-in-Law who is differently abled- they need to visit physicians/clinics on a regular basis
for check ups and treatments-accompanied by me.
Having served this company with my full zest, it is requested to please reconsider/redesign
my deputation orders on special grounds due to the above-mentioned reasons.
I don’t have any relatives living here in Kolkata as well so that my family can be looked after
properly in my absence in Kolkata.
It is my earnest request you to consider an alternative arrangement for me like -15 days tour
to Berlin (continuous or in phased manner) every month based out of Kolkata till the
deputation period gets over -keeping in view of my situation where it is evident that I need
to remain available in Kolkata as much as possible in case of any emergency that may arise in
my family.
I hope you’ll consider my request. I shall remain obliged.
