Main Job Tasks:

• Assists facilities Supervisor & technicians and provides them the necessary support and technical
expertise and guidance.

• Responsible for efficient working of AHU’s , UPS, STP plant, drainage system, boilers, gas plant,
chiller, chiller pumps, pump room and rectifies/reports problems.

• To ensure that all the diesel generator sets are in working condition.

• Monitors meter readings of HT, LT reading, dental department reading.

• Ensures the maintenance of prescribed medical gas pressures

• Monitors the medical gas pipeline panel

• Ensures that there is uninterrupted electrical supply to the hospital

• Ensures preventive maintenance of all equipment and machinery as per the schedule

• Responsible for the maintenance and trouble shooting of water supply and drainage systems.

• Responsible for the lighting, Air condition and Electrical DBs in the hospital and advice ways and
means of reducing HLP costing.

• Monitors Oxygen, Nitrous Oxide and compressor Air.

• Ensures the proper maintenance of cylinders in the emergency room.

• Ensures that the nurse calling system are in proper working condition.

• Ensures that plasma TV, PA’s system, telephones, printers computes, fax machines and photocopier
machine are checked and problems are immediately rectified.

• Is responsible for the maintenance of the server room systems (backup cassette)

• Co-ordinates with vendors when required

• Ensures that log books are well maintained.

• Plans staff work assignments and schedules.

• Responsible for timely setting of KRA and review as per the PMS guidelines
