Directions: This rating scale is a mean to guide us in determining the growth and improvement of the
student teacher. Please indicate in the appropriate space of your rating in a scale of 75 to 95.

INDICATORS RATING COMMENTS/SUGGESTIONS


1. Appearance – Dresses appropriately,
clean, well groomed, prim and proper.
2. Speech and Diction – Voice is clear and
easily heard, uses appropriate language
and good grammar.
3. Mastery of the Subject Matter – Shows
evidence of competency in his/her skills
and has adequate knowledge of the
subject area.
4. Planning – Prepares outline for the entire
course, prepares and makes adequate
use of lesson plan.
5. Presentation – Utilizes appropriate
teaching aids and devices, a variety of a
well-planned techniques assigned are
clear.
6. Demonstration – Well prepared, well
executed.
7. Evaluation – Uses various evaluative
techniques and instruments, identifies
students’ progress through immediate
feedback, institutes remedial measures.
8. Supplies – Adequately stored, checked,
kept clean and accessible
9. Equipment – Clean, machine oiled, kept
in working condition.
10. Instructional Materials – texts and
references are used properly; models and
samples are used appropriately.
11. Teaching Attitude – Enjoys teaching,
willing to participate in school affairs.
12. Students’ Enthusiasm – Enjoys coming
to classes, feels that they are learning,
interested in activities.
