5 Getting Started: The Learning Journey
5.1 E
ach MePro level has 10 theme-based modules and each module has a total of
8 tasks on Listening, Reading, Writing, Speaking, Grammar and Vocabulary.

5.2 O
nce the candidate has logged in, depending on the registration type,
he/she will either be directed to take a placement test or will be mapped
on to a particular level.

5.2.1 In this Placement Test, the candidate would take a 20-minute adaptive
test. The actual test duration may vary depending on the proficiency of the
answers entered. It is important to complete the test in a single attempt
so
without logging off. Once done, click on the Finish button to complete the
test. Skipping this step would lead to account suspension.
5.2.2 I n case of being mapped on to a particular level directly, click on the

Modules tab (in the left panel) and begin.
5.3 Proceed sequentially as modules and tasks appear.
5.4 Score a minimum of 70% to move up to the next task.

5.5 For Speaking Tasks:
5.5.1 U
se a quality headset with microphone. To check, record your speech sam-
ple via the voice recorder app.
5.5.2 Click Press and hold to record. Do not release the button before you finish.
5.5.3 Passing score required for speaking tasks is 50%.
5.6 After first 5 modules, attempt Quiz successfully to reach the next milestone.

6 Completing the Assessment
6.1 A
fter every five modules, there will be an assessment. There are three types of
assessments available as following:
• Quiz
• Remediation
• Review Test
The table below will explain the assessment process clearly:

Score below 70% Required Can consume after completing remediation
6.2 Pass the Review Test with 60% and you’ll be able to move to the next learning
module.

6.3 After completing modules 6-10, attempt Quiz 2, Remediation 2 and finally the
Level Test.
6.4 Level Test: Passing Criteria

6.4.1 Score 70% or more in first 3 attempts to reach the next level and obtain
level completion certificate.

6.4.2 If you are unable to get 70% in first 3 attempts, answer key will be made
available for viewing.
6.4.3 Use the answer key to re-attempt the level test and score 70% to reach the
next level and get level participation certificate.
