(2) Before the installation of seals (2), fill cavities with 1P-0808 Multipurpose Grease.

(3) Maximum end play ... 0.254 mm (0.01 inch)

(4) Fill the cavity with 1P-0808 Multipurpose Grease. ... 0.7 L (0.7 qt)

(5) Apply a 3 mm (0.12 inch) continuous bead of 8T-9022 Silicone Gasket to the
spindle flange prior to the press fit or the shell.

(6) Torque for plug ... 60 N·m (44 lb ft)


(7) Install the eight 142-9036 Nuts onto each axle in the above order.

Torque for the nuts ... 160 ± 15 N·m (120.0 ± 11.0 lb ft)

The nuts should be rotated an additional 60 ± 5 degrees after the nuts have been
torqued.

taut side of the chain. Play (B) for the chain ... 12.5 ± 2.5 mm (0.49 ± 0.10 inch)
(3) Orient the chamfers of the 165-4892 Spacers toward the hydraulic motors.
