In 2016, we signed a Strategic Alliance Agreement with HCS
CONTROLS LIMITED of Glenrothes, United Kingdom, as part of its
long-term objective of becoming a recognized service provider in
the subsea industry in Nigeria and Ghana.
On the back of key investments in equipment and physical
infrastructure, Hyprops, in conjunction with HCS, is now fully set-up
in Nigeria to offer such services as design, manufacture, assembly
and testing of subsea controls equipment ranging from hydraulic
production systems, installation and workover (IWOCS) systems,
subsea distribution units, Hydraulic Power Units, Topside Umbilical
Termination Units, Topside Umbilical Termination Assembles, to
Umbilical Reelers and Umbilical Termination Assemblies.
We hold an Intellectual Property License from Messrs. RILCO
MANUFACTURING INC., industry leaders in the innovation and
development of pipe support systems. The License Agreement
empowers Hyprops to manufacture, under RILCO’s supervision, and
distribute the following products in Nigeria on an exclusive basis:

COLD REPAIR TECHNOLOGY FOR PIPE AND TUBE FITTINGS
Founded in 1988, Lokring Technology is a privately held international
company headquartered in Willoughby, Ohio, serving over 30
countries worldwide. Lokring designs patented, cold-work, weld
equivalent pipe and tube fittings. Their technology utilizes Elastic
Strain Preload (ESP) and provides a metal-to-metal leak-free seal.
Lokring’s fittings offer superior compression or swaging of the pipe/
tube wall.
