“ My name is Pallavi and I have completed my MSW in
Community Development. I learned about Mentor
Together's mentoring programme when the team came to
my college. I was paired with my Mentor, Anup K. I used to
be extremely shy and used to not ask questions, but as the
sessions went on, I started to feel more at ease. My mentor
used to relate an incident to illustrate the idea of each
session, which made it easier for me to comprehend.
Through the sessions I made a professional resume and the
Interview sessions helped me get ready for my placements.
I acquired time management skills, which has greatly
improved my ability to arrange my time. I was hired as a
Project Facilitator at AROHA NGO and I thank Mentor
Together team and my Mentor for this enriching journey!

The best thing about the Mentor To Go program is that it is not just
theoretical, it also involves practical exercises that enable students
to understand and apply what's learnt with the help of guidance
from mentors. It is a well structured program, developed based on
the current industry requirements which enable students to be
ready for the workplace. We can also look at helping students not
only to get the job, but also to progress in their careers. This
program enables me to better understand and improve my own
emotional intelligence and soft skills.
