The Jamb pin vending is a service that allows prospective candidates who wish to write the JAMB
UTME/Direct Entry purchase a pin which they can use to register for the Jamb examination.
1. Its error free as it solves the problem of mismatch of candidate information such as names, passports
etc
2. It is secured and safe as the profile code and pin is tied the candidate details
3. The Jamb pins can be easily accessed via any Baxi device
4.An agent gets a commission of 2.5% on every transaction

❑ The Candidate should have a National Identification Number (NIN ID card)
❑ The Candidate should have a personal phone number which will be used in all communications related to
the Jamb Registration and Examination
❑ Create a Personal Jamb Profile(Profile code)

Input the 11 Digits NIN number Jamb sends a 10 digits profile code to the

Step 1 : Candidate Text NIN leave a space, input 11 Digits NIN number and send to 55019 or 66019

Step 2: A Profile Code will be sent automatically to the candidate phone number
Step 3: The Candidate proceeds to any Baxi Agent outlet to buy the Jamb pin.
The Baxi Agent logs in to the the Baxi device and taps on the Jamb pin vending icon
Step 4: Select the Exam type (DE, UTME, UTME+MOCK)
Step 5: Enter the profile code in the field for registration number to validate the candidate details
Step 6: Enter the registered Jamb phone number
Step 7: Depending on the exam type selected, the amount is displayed
Step 8: Enter the Baxi transaction pin
Step 9: A successful transaction receipt is printed
Step 10:The Candidate proceeds with the pin to any nearest accredited Jamb CBT center to
complete the registration

A.Locate Any Baxi Agent Outlet with your profile code and purchase the pin
3 .How do I generate a profile code?
A. The candidate uses his/her phone number to text NI N put a space then the 11digits NI N number to 55019 or 66019
(e.g NI N 12345678900 send to 55019 or 66019)
4. I have lost/forgotten/deleted my profile code how do I retrieve it?
A. Using your registered Jambphone number send RESEND to 55019 or 66019 as a text message, the profile code
will be sent to the candidate registered Jamb phone number
5. Can the profile code be reused i.e.can I use my last year profile code to buy a pin this year?
A. Yes, An old profile code can be used by the same candidate to purchase a new pin in a different exam year
6. D oes the Jamb Pin Expire?
A. The Pin expires once registration closes

7.After purchasing the Jamb Pin from a Baxi agent what do I do next?
A. The candidate proceeds with the Jamb Pin to any accredited CBT center to complete their registration

A. The Candidate should go to the CBT center and it will be rectified
