                      objectives
The object of football is to maneuver the ball into the
opposing team's goal, using any part of the body
    except the hands and arms.
The side scoring more goals wins.
The object of the game is to score points by carrying
or passing the ball across the opponent's goal line or
by kicking the ball through their goal posts (which is
positioned just past their goal line within their end
    zone).
Another objective of football is to promote
    teamwork.
                     introduction
Football is a family of team sports that involve, to varying
degrees, kicking a ball to score a goal. Unqualified, the
word football normally means the form of football that is
the most popular where the word is used. Sports
commonly called football include association football
(known as soccer in Australia, Canada, South Africa, and
the United States; in Ireland and New Zealand, the game
is referred to as either "football" or "soccer"
              History oF Football
Some predecessors of football may date back to
ancient Greece and Rome, and similar games were
played in ancient China and Japan.
The history of football in Britain dates at least to the
  eighth century CE.
The development of association football has its
origins in medieval ball games and English public
  school games.

              rules & regulation
A match consists of two 45 minutes halves with a 15
  minute rest period in between.
Each team can have a minimum off 11 players
(including 1 goalkeeper who is the only player
allowed to handle the ball within the 18 yard box)
and a minimum of 7 players are needed to constitute
  a match.
The field must be made of either artificial or natural
grass. The size of pitches is allowed to vary but must
be within 100-130 yards long and 50-100 yards wide.
The pitch must also be marked with a rectangular
shape around the outside showing out of bounds,
two six yard boxes, two 18 yard boxes and a Centre
circle. A spot for a penalty placed 12 yards out of
both goals and Centre circle must also be visible.
He ball must have a circumference of 58-61cm and
    be of a circular shape.
Each team can name up to 7 substitute players.
Substitutions can be made at any time of the match
with each team being able to make a maximum of 3
    substitutions per side.
If teams are still level after extra time then a penalty
    shootout must take place.
The whole ball must cross the goal line for it to
    constitute as a goal.
           MeasureMent oF PlayField
The dimensions of full size pitches vary, especially at the
amateur level with official regulations from IFAB
(International Football Association Board) stating that
football pitches can measure between 100 yards (91.4m)
and 130 yards (118.9m) long and 50 yards (45.7m) to 100
yards (91.4m) wide.
              Penalty box diMensions
The penalty box is actually a rectangle and measures 18
yards (16.5m) long and 44 yards (40.2m) wide. The width
of the penalty box is usually marked out by measuring 18
yards from each side of the goalposts - as a full-size goal is
8 yards (7.32m) wide, this gives a total width of 44 yards
(40.2m).
               goal area diMensions
The goal area, which is often called “the six-yard box”
measures 6 yards (5.49m) x 20 yards (18.29m). The main
purpose of the goal area is to limit where the ball can be
placed for a goal kick.
             centre circle diMensions
The Centre circle has a 10 yard (9.14m) radius around the
Centre spot on the football pitch.
              corner arc diMensions
Corner arcs have a radius of 1 yard (0.91m). The arc is
marked with a quarter circle and the radius is drawn 1
yard from the base of the corner flag. When a corner kick
is taken, the ball must reside within the arc. Defending
players should remain 10 yards (9.15m) from the ball until it
is kicked.

                   Football
Common causes of football injuries are being
tackled, collisions with other players, being hit by the
ball, and falls. Being physically prepared and using
the right techniques can help prevent injury.
Bruises are easily the most common injury suffered in
football. With constant physical contact from
helmets, knees, shoulders, and sometimes shoes,
every football player is bound to walk off the field
  with at least one bruise.
Football’s strenuous and fast-paced nature makes
ankle sprains one of the most common football
injuries. A football player typically suffers from an
ankle sprain as a direct result of a tackle, while other
causes include running, jumping, or falling.
                      conclusion
The football affects us all in profound ways.
Whether it is by helping to develop new reflexes or
muscle memory while we play with it, by changing
our perceptions of controllable space while we play
without it, or by simply alleviating stress as a past-
  time.
Football can be seen as a hobby, a sport, an
obsession. But we know football to be more than this.
However, the main thing is that it promotes
  teamwork.
