LAPTOP/ASSET POLICY
Creliant Software Pvt. Ltd., henceforth referred to as CSPL is issuing laptop to Rajkumar T for official use. The user shall exercise appropriate
professional judgment when using a laptop, equipment, or any accessories.
He/she agrees that the equipment is in good working order at the initiation of the agreement period. If the employee retires or resigns from the CSPL,
all equipment must be returned to the Pune office address on the last working day.
The employee is responsible for this equipment at all times. The employee is responsible for taking reasonable precautions to secure the laptop in
such a manner that it will not be subject to theft or damage. Loss, theft, or damage to this laptop must be reported to the employee’s supervisor.
Employees are responsible for any loss, theft, or damage that occurs outside of Office Premises. Employees may elect to provide a police report
indicating the cause of the loss, theft, or damage to the laptop to the CSPL. If a police report is not provided, then the employee is liable for the full
replacement value of the laptop, as specified below.
• If a laptop is damaged or in need of repair, the employee should submit a written request to the Admin, HR, and Finance Department.
• If a laptop has been lost or stolen, the Employee is directed to notify his/her Manager of the loss or theft.
General Rules
• There should be no unwanted documents downloaded on the computer/laptop and all the drives of the PCs/device should be synced with
Google Drive.
• Only keep work-related required documents or files/software over Google Drive. Do not keep anything offline.
• Power off your laptop whenever it is not in use. Do not carry the laptop in suspend or hibernation mode.
• Personal use of the laptop, equipment, and accessories is prohibited
• Keep your laptop close to you and in sight. Otherwise, keep it locked away securely. It only takes a moment for a thief to walk away with
your laptop.
• Never store passwords with your laptop or in its carrying case.
• Travel without your laptop if it is not needed.
• Since the laptop’s keyboard and touchpad are permanently attached to the rest of the system, make sure that your hands are clean before
using them. Because hand lotion is a major contributing factor to dirt and dust, please make sure your hands are free from lotion before using
the Laptop. It is costly to change a laptop keyboard and/or touchpad that has been damaged by excessive dirt.
• Do not place drinks or food in close proximity to your laptop.
While at the Office
• When away from your desk, leave your laptop in locked / “log in required” protection status.
• Laptops should be taken home at night or secured out of sight in a locked drawer, cabinet, or locked.
• Make sure that the laptop is in locked / “log in required” status if you need to walk away from your laptop - - even if you remain in the
meeting room.

___Rajkumar.T_______I have read and agree to abide by the CSPL Laptop Policy. I understand that my use of this laptop is governed by the
guidelines set forth in this policy.
____Rajkumar.T______I understand that this laptop must be secured by a password at all times. I understand that I am responsible for maintaining
the confidentiality of any data stored or accessed on this laptop. In the event of loss or theft, CSPL personnel may attempt to track the location of the
device using manufacturer location tracking tools.
___Rajkumar.T_______I will notify the Manager or designee if I am retiring, resigning, or taking a leave of absence in excess of two weeks. I will
return this equipment to the Pune office address and communicate over mail to my manager along with Admin and HR on my last working day.
Failure of this will result in 5000\- which will be deducted from the FNF amount.
____Rajkumar.T______I agree that I am accountable for the property listed above and that I must exercise reasonable care in its safekeeping.
Equipment assigned by CSPL to me will only be used within the scope of the duties of my position and for related business. I will not use the
equipment for personal use.
___Rajkumar.T_______I agree that loss, theft, or damage to this laptop will be immediately reported to my Manager. Unless I provide a police
report for the loss, theft, or damage that occurs outside of CSPL premises, I agree to promptly provide payment for the full replacement value of the
laptop to the
CSPL.
