entrepreneur in love
with India, who sees, writes and photographs
in a“ pleasing light”.
 He is a social worker.
 He established the first stray cow shelter in
Gurgaon.
 He established the first multi specialty hospital in
the private sector in Gurgaon.

 Coorg is the smallest district in Karnataka


 It is situated midway between Mysore and coastal
town of Mangalore.
 It is look like a peace of heaven.
 This land is famous for rainfall and species.
 It is also known as Kodagu.
 Months from September to March is very pleasant.
It is a hilly place with Men, women and wild life

Alexander’s army in south India.


As one story goes, a part of Alexander’s army moved to
south along the coast and settled here when return
became impractical.
These people married among the locals and their culture
is apparent in the martial, traditions, marriage, and
religious rites which are distinct from Hindu
mainstream.

The theory of Arab origin draws support traditional


Coorgi dress from the long, black coat with an
embroidered waist-belt worn by Kodavus. Known as
Kuppia, it resembles the kuffia worn by the Arabs and
the Kurds.

 The river Kaveri obtains its water from the hills


and forest of Coorg.
 The first Indian army was General Cariappa, was a
Coorgi.
 Coorg is famous for coffee rainforest and species.
 Kodavus are the only people in India permitted to
carry firearms without licence.
 It is the smallest district in Karnataka.
 Evergreen rainforest covers30% of the district.
 The independent Coorg are possibly Greek or
Arabic decent.
