Placement Season 2021 – 22

MITS has the privilege of admitting the best pool of students from Madhya Pradesh
into the engineering, science and management programs. The Placement Office is the
nodal point for recruitment of students from the institute. The Placement Season at
MITS was a virtual event throughout the year, with a few in person campus interviews in
the summer. The recruited students have succeeded in living up to the expectations of
the recruiters worldwide. The presence of world-class research facilities, extensive
institute-industry collaborations, good international exchange programs,
interdisciplinary scientific research collaborations and excellent industrial training
opportunities help the students of MITS to excel and get ahead in the competitive job
market.

MITS, Gwalior witnessed promising participation of companies in campus recruitment.


A total of 55 companies participated in the campus recruitment program this year
across the sectors and a total of 917 offers have been made for the academic year
2021-22. 350+ studnets recieved Internship+ job offers.The highest total package was
INR 1.0 crore for the current placement season followed by 2nd highest CTC offered
INR 40.0 LPA and 3rd highest INR 25.0 LPA. A good number of non-IT companies
visited this current season and recruited the students.

We began the placement process from the students' side with a training process during
the month of August 2021 coordinating with TNP cell . We also held periodic aptitude
and assessment tests arranged by our TNP cell head and coordinators. We had also
shared a repository of job profiles and companies that visited us the previous year so
that students can prepare ahead. Additionally, we arranged and shared resources on
resume and interview preparation.

KEY HIGHLIGHTS

-> International placement of the season was in Prime Labs Ltd, USA
and offered Package was Rs 1 Crore offered to one student of CSE
which was highest CTC offered.

-> 2nd Highest offer was made from MICROSOFT to one studnet at
CTC of Rs. 40.0 LPA.

-> And, in continuation Amazon offered CTC of Rs 25.0 LPA to one


student, moneyHop offere Rs 14.0 LPA, Capillary Technologies
offered Rs 13 LPA and so on.

-> The average CTC offered to the batch of 2022 was INR 5.0
Lakhs.

-> Internship no.s have increased to highest level with highest


stipend offered in 2022 batch was Rs 87,000/- per month and 2nd
highest stipend offered was Rs. 50,000/- per month.

-> 350+ students received Internship + job offers

->Total no. of students completed 04 to 06 months internship in thier


last semester with stipend were 224.

INTERNSHIP 2021-2022

MITS has started full time, 06 months internship in the Last semester of
B.Tech, MCA and MBA students and getting overwhelming responses
from the industry. Apart form Internships rest of the students have done
Major Projects under the guidance of their department.

Highest stipend offered during internship was Rs 87,000/- per month


and followed with Rs 50,000/- per month as 2nd highest.

350+ students recieved Internship+Job offer and 227 studnets recieved


Internship with stipend.

Pre final year students also goes for 02 months internship, which is been
initiated mandatory by the institution in the curriculum.

Pre-final year students have been offered Pre-placement Offers (PPOs)


at the end of their internship term. These students have received
internship and job offers collectively in the end of the term. PPO at MITS
have improved this year, recruiter interest was highest for computer
science engineering with most openings in advanced software
programming in Big Data, IoT, AI and ML, AI and DS, etc. It is expected
that the rising PPOs will reduce the institute's dependence on final
placements. The hiring trend has been on the rise specifically for
technical roles, with more companies giving PPO through internships.
