STEPS
Start knitting 2 legs.
1. Leg (2 pieces)
Cast on 20 sts grey color – 2.5 mm needle (20 cm)
1. row: purl all sts

When you have finished both legs, knit them together on row 12. Now we will need a long needle

Pull yarn through, tighten and sew the top part of the toy - about halfway down the body. Fill in toy
stuffing, attach eyes.

EYE
For the eye we need a felt sheet of white colour. Using a compass, make the whites of the eyes, size
- diameter 20 mm. Cut out. When the eye is finished, cut out a cross in the middle with small
scissors to make it easier to fit the safety eye. The size of the eye used is 12 mm.

STEPS – SEW:
First sew the legs together at the bottom, and sew the middle of the legs together. To make stitching
easier, use a safety pin in the middle of the legs to join the outermost 2 sts on both legs (see photo).

When the legs are done, thread the yarn and sew the body of the toy while filling the toy stuffing.
leave a small hole on the back that you have not sewn yet and pull the black yarn to make the face –
nose (Sew the nose and sew through 7-8 times with black yarn.), mustache and mouth (Sew the
mouth as a small dot and sew through 2-3 times with black yarn.). Sew the last part of the toy on
the back. Sew the ears to the head and finally the tail.

TAIL
Cast on 4 sts grey color.

Fill the tail with toy stuffing. Fasten the tail with pins and fasten. We do not sew the tail after filling
the toy stuffing, but sew it straight to the toy.

Knit 2 equal parts of the leaf, put them together and a heart is formed. Sew the leaf together and knit
the stem on the leaf by casting on 2 sts and knitting i-cord (short needle 2.5 mm- 20 cm) - 7 rows in
total, cast off in the 8th row. Sew to the leaf and fasten the yarn on the stem. Sew the leaf to the
head, in the middle between the ears.
Make a leaf out of green yarn and sew it to the head between the ears. Sew the canopies on the chest
in grey. I used pins to mark the places where I will embroider the canopies on the chest.

When we have everything stitched on the toy, we close the hole on the back and the toy is ready.
