Present Assignment: Associate Professor (Mechanical Engineering) and Dean of Training and Placements in
Sagi Rama Krishnam Raju Engineering College, Bhimavaram.

Responsibilities:

 Identify employment opportunities & internships available across the industries for the II/III/IV-
B.Tech engineering students
 Establish a relationship with the corporate leaders and present brief profile of the college and invite
them to conduct on/off/pool campus recruitment/internship drive for engineering students
 Branding the institute in various HR or academic related conferences for the larger visibility
 Find out what the industry is looking in fresh engineering graduates and their campus recruitment
process and prepare the students according to the needs of the industries
 To identify different training needs of the B.Tech and M.Tech students.
 To design and organize campus recruitment training programs on personality development,
aptitude, English language skills, Technical Courses etc.
 Organizing guest lectures, industry interaction programs etc by industry delegates
 Look for industries that support the college in terms of providing technical support, lab
establishments and internships for PG & UG students; and making MoUs with them
 Continue the relationship with alumni and monitor alumni association activities
 Gather constant feedback from the companies about alumni who are working with them and
analyze it to bring changes in the present training methods or curriculum
 Conducting HR conferences at cities like Pune/Mumbai/Hyderabad/Bangalore etc.

 I have participated in ISTE (New Delhi) sponsored Two-Day National Workshop on “Jatropha Bio-
Diesel - The- Future Fuel”, conducted by Department of Mechanical Engineering, V.I.T.S.,
Deshmukhi, Hyderabad from 30.12.2006 to 31.12.2006.
 I attended two day national seminar on “Industry & Professional Academia: Responsibility”
(NASPAR-2007) organized by Research & Development centre, GITAM held on 9th & 10th February,
2007 at GITAM, Visakhapatnam.
 I have attended two-day national workshop on “” Advance materials and Processing” organized by
the Department of Mechanical Engineering, JNTUK, Vizianagaram Campus from 21.02.2010 to 22.
02.2010.
 I have participated in TEQIP sponsored Three-Day National Workshop on “Fatigue, Fracture and
Creep of Materials and Components” conducted by the Department of Mechanical Engineering, A.U
