In accordance with the terms of your employment with the Company as set out in the employment
agreement dated February 25, 2024 (Agreement), this virtual work agreement (VW Agreement) sets
out the terms and conditions upon which you will work from home (Home Office Work Arrangement)
1. Home Location
You will perform your role from your home at Barangay Ugong Lamesa St. Amva Housing Building 10 unit 311
Valenzuela City
You must give as much notice to the Company as possible, and at least two weeks, if you intend to move
from your Home Location.
You may not conduct in-person business meetings, either with Company employees or with third
parties, at your Home Location without prior approval from your supervisor/manager.
You may be notified of a requirement to attend the Company’s office at Manila from time to time on
either a temporary or regular basis, including to accommodate meetings, training, project work or
other business needs.
You will be required to maintain effective methods of communication with your supervisors,
coworkers and customers. This may include, but is not limited to, email and telephone. If you have
difficulty with any communication systems, you must contact your manager immediately.
2. Work Day
You will perform your normal role in accordance with your normal work schedule, at the Home
Location on a full-time basis in accordance with the terms of the Agreement. Your work schedule is
referenced in your Agreement and as outlined by the Company from time to time.
You must only access Company systems including email during your normally scheduled or approved
working hours and must not work outside of these hours, including while you are taking paid leave.
You are responsible for providing the Company with complete and accurate accounting of the time you
spend working. Falsification of this information may lead to disciplinary action against you which may
result in your dismissal. You must ensure to take breaks in accordance with your Employment
Agreement and as required by law.
Upon request, you will provide reports of your work activities, accomplishments or other matters
relating to the duties that you are assigned from time to time.
You are required to immediately self-troubleshoot and then report any technical problems that may
affect your hours of work and productivity to your manager and any technical team(s) when
necessary. In addition, you will be required to participate in activities pertaining to Community
Partnership for Development which will be undertaken from time to time (for example, the planting of
forest trees), in support of our corporate social responsibility in support of our Leadership Principles
on Strive to Be Earth’s Best Employer and Success and Scale Bring Broad Responsibility.
3. Company Policies
You will be required to comply with the Company’s directions, policies (including, but not limited to, any
Data Privacy policies), practices and procedures relating to your employment, including with respect
to harassment and discrimination.
4. Performance
Your will be required to meet the Company’s expectations in relation to your overall performance in
accordance with your Agreement and Company directions, policies, practices and procedures,
including in relation to productivity, behavior, conduct, attendance and quality standards.
5. Home Office
You are required to set up a distinct area at your Home Location for the purpose of performing your
work (Home Office). The Home Office must comply with all occupational health and safety standards,
rules and regulations including, but not limited to, being free of potential trip hazards, fire hazards and
unnecessary clutter. You must take all reasonable steps to ensure that the Home Office provides a
safe and ergonomically sound work environment.
The Home Office should be set up to suit the needs of your role and you agree that the Company
and/or its agents may inspect the Home Office for, among other things, security and safety purposes.
Whenever possible, you will be given reasonable notice before an inspection.
You must comply with any directions that the Company gives you from time to time in relation to the
Home Office in order to ensure a productive, safe and secure working environment.
You will be provided with certain equipment and supplies that are necessary for you to perform your
duties from your Home Office.
You will also be expected to have a reliable broadband internet connection, either through DSL, cable,
or fiber-to-home (FiOS or Fiber Optic) with a minimum internet speed requirement as notified to you by
the Company. The Company may, at its discretion, require you to provide proof of quality- of-service at
any time.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, you will not be eligible to be reimbursed for any other expenses
including, but not limited to, travel between the Home Location and the Company office, and other
home-related expenses including climate control, electricity, insurance and personal monthly phone
bills. The Company will not be responsible for any damage, misuse, loss or replacement cost of any
personal equipment and supplies used by you during the Home Office Work Arrangement.
Any Company equipment provided to you for use at your Home Office, must be used in accordance with
established Company policies, practices and procedures. All equipment issued to you by the
Company remains the property of the Company and must only be used by you for work performed for
the Company. You must take all reasonable precautions to protect such equipment and other
Company property from damage, misuse or loss, and must report any damage or loss to the
Company immediately. You will be responsible for returning such equipment in good condition if the
Home Office Work Arrangement is terminated, or as otherwise requested by the Company.
7. Confidentiality
You must ensure the confidentiality and security of all information and data handled by or made
available to you while working at the Home Office, in accordance with the Company’s policies,
practices and procedures.
In particular (and without limitation), you must take all necessary steps to protect the confidentiality of
Company information, including but not limited to: (1) marking all documents containing trade secrets
or confidential information as “CONFIDENTIAL”; (2) logging off and shutting down any Company-
provided computer so that it may not be accessed by others when you are not using the laptop; (3)
making sure that computer screens are locked when you are away from the Home Office and that
screens are not visible to anyone else while you are working; (4) maintaining secrecy of all passwords
used to access Company information and systems; and (5) storing all Company documents and other
information (including removable computing media) and Company equipment in a locked desk, filing
cabinet or workspace to which others do not have access.
You will remain bound by the Company’s policies in place from time to time in relation to information
security and the use of information technology services, including email and electronic
communications systems, while working from the Home Office.
You should have no expectation of privacy in the use of Company equipment or information created,
stored, received or transmitted on Company-provided equipment or over the Company’s network
systems (including, but not limited to, email), regardless of whether or not such systems are accessed
through a Company laptop or non-Company computer during the Home Office Work Arrangement. All
such information belongs to the Company. In addition, any Company information created, stored,
received or transmitted on a personal computer belongs to the Company and you should have no
expectation of privacy in such information.
The Company reserves the right to monitor, review, audit, intercept, access, retain and disclose any
and all data that is created, stored, received or transmitted on any of its network systems or on any of
its equipment during the Home Office Work Arrangement. Personal passwords may be used for
purposes of security but use of a personal password does not affect the Company’s ownership of
electronic information. The Company may override any personal password for any reason.
Phone calls made, or received, by you when conducting Company business are subject to recording
and monitoring for training and quality purposes. You should not independently record calls with
customers or calls in which customer information is discussed.
In addition, you must comply with all software licenses and related Company guidelines. This
includes all software, electric devices and services and proper use of the internet. You must also
observe policies regarding confidentiality, patent and other property rights.
The security of Company property and information in your home is as important as in any Company
office. You are responsible for maintaining the security of network access to the Company’s computer
systems and for ensuring that you are the only user of such systems. You are expected to take
reasonable precautions to protect your own and any Company-provided equipment, information, and
supplies from theft, damage, disclosure, or misuse. In the event of a security breach of any kind (e.g.
lost or stolen computer or security violation), or if you become aware that confidential information has
been compromised, you must notify your manager immediately. Failure to take appropriate precautions
to protect equipment and information may result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination
of your employment.
If at any stage you have any concerns about your ability to perform your role from your Home Office,
the safety or security of your Home Office, or about any risks which it might pose to you while
working, you must inform your manager immediately.
You must also immediately inform your manager if you suffer a work-related injury while working from
your Home Office. You must complete all necessary and/or requested documentation relating to such
injury.
You will be responsible for confirming that no deed, title or other contractual restrictions, homeowners'
association regulations, or other local ordinances or regulations prohibit or restrict your ability to work
remotely from your Home Location. This remains your responsibility to determine at all times and the
Company will not be responsible for any liabilities associated with this issue.
You will also be responsible for assessing the impact that the Home Office Work Arrangement may
have on any insurance taken out by you or any other member of your household. The Company will in
no circumstances be liable for any losses or damages arising from the Home Office Work
Arrangement, except as provided for by workers’ compensation or similar legislation.
11. Tax
There may be income tax or other tax implications as a result of your Home Office Work Arrangement.
The Company is not responsible for providing tax guidance or assuming any additional tax liabilities
(we will of course comply with our normal withholding and payroll tax obligations) associated with your
Home Office Work Arrangement. It is your responsibility to consult with qualified professionals to
discuss any tax implications that the Home Office Work Arrangement might raise for you.
12. Operation of the Virtual Work Agreement This Virtual Work Agreement and your Agreement
constitute the entire agreement and understanding of the parties as to your employment and, in
relation to that subject matter, supersedes any prior understanding or agreement between the parties
and any prior condition, warranty, indemnity or representation imposed, given or made by a party.
To the extent that there is any conflict between this Virtual Work Agreement and the Agreement, the
Agreement prevails.
Part or all of any section of this Virtual Work Agreement that is illegal or unenforceable will be severed
from this Virtual Work Agreement and the remaining provisions of this Virtual Work Agreement
continue in force.
The Home Office Work Arrangement will be subject to ongoing review and may be modified,
suspended or terminated at any time and for any reason with immediate effect at the discretion of the
Company.
If you wish to modify, suspend or terminate the Home Office Work Arrangement, you must discuss
your request with your manager.
If this Home Office Work Arrangement is terminated by the Company, this Virtual Work Agreement will
cease to apply to your ongoing employment and you will be required to immediately commence
performing your role for the Company on a full time basis from the location notified to you by the
Company].

5. Voice calls/chats/email conversations made or receivedoby you while conducting Amazon business are

6. You shall observe the practices mentioned in Annexurec1 Workstation – Dos and Don’ts hereto while
performing your work for Amazon. y
7. Amazon may request the employee to be present at the Company´s offices, when it deems convenient
to keep the good performance of the business activities, giving a previous notice of twenty-four to forty-
eight hours.
a. You are permitted to work in a location that Amazon has approved as your virtual work location.
b. Your virtual work location is a specific area at a specific address where you will perform your
work.
c. You cannot change your virtual work location unless Amazon approves the change in advance.
As a result, you must inform and seek prior approval from your supervisor in writing, at least
two (2) weeks prior to any change in your virtual work location.
Any unique circumstances should be brought to the attention of your direct manager as soon as
possible. If you need to make an update to your permanent home address, please access the Employee
Handbook, the HUB, or partner with your supervisor or HR Business Partner for more information.

2. Amazon reserves the right to inspect your virtual location at any time during working hours, either in

person, photographs or via video conference, without prior i notice to ensure compliance.
3. Any change in the Primary Virtual Work Location and thershifting / relocation / re-installation of Amazon’s
equipment (described hereunder) shall be carried out only t by such person expressly authorized by

Amazon, unless otherwise instructed. Any attempt by you a or any unauthorized third party to uninstall /
shift / relocate Amazon provided equipment shall be dealt l with strictly and may also result in termination
of your employment with Amazon.
4. Your work area should be a private space in which you are W not overlooked or disturbed. Your work area

must be free of distractions such as barking dogs, television

to devote full attention to the Amazon customer. You must k maintain reliable arrangements for normal
child or adult care requirements during work hours. Youi agree that you will not provide child or adult
care during hours of scheduled work. n
5. Your virtual work area should be situated such that the gmonitors are not facing windows if located
within 15 feet from ground level. If this is unavoidable, Pprivacy screens will be required to be on your
computer at all times. o
6. You are required to observe common safety practices l specified by Amazon for your work area (see

Annexure 2 - Safety Checklist, data to be shared with your c manager whenever asked for evaluation)
7.You must take all reasonable steps to ensure that the y work area provides a safe and ergonomically
sound work environment.
8. The following guidelines will help ensure that your area is ergonomically sound:
• Desk – Computer and Monitor should be directly in front of the user.
• Chair – Needs to be sturdy and adjustable (so that your feet can be flat on the
floor with your knees at a 90-degree angle) with backrest and casters
appropriate for the floor surface.
• Keyboard – Wrists and forearms should be straight.
• Monitor – Should be approximately an arm’s length from eyes with the top of the
screen at or
slightly lower than eye level.
9. You are required to provide your own furniture (desk and chair). If you require specialized furniture,
including ergonomic furniture, you must purchase the proper furniture at your own expense.
10. It is your responsibility to ensure that work equipment is placed where it is adequately supported.
Electronic equipment should be plugged into a properly grounded electrical outlet. Your designated
home work area must be free of potential trip hazards, fire hazards, and unnecessary clutter.
11. It is your responsibility to comply with all applicable local laws, including and, without limitation, tax,
zoning regulations or homeowners’ association rules regarding using your home (virtual work location
intimated to the employer) as a workplace.
12. Amazon will not reimburse you for any home-related expenses including, but not limited to, additional
internet-related expense on top the approved internet allowance, climate control, electricity,
insurance, and personal monthly phone bills. It is your responsibility to determine any income tax
implications of maintaining a home work area.

2. You will be responsible for your personal safety at any point of time during which you are discharging
your employment obligations. You shall further ensure that you will not carry out any work for due
discharge of your employment obligations at any place / location other your designated area of work.
You agree that Amazon shall not be obligated to render, nor will be rendering, any security for the
person or property in your possession at any time, including the time during which you are discharging
the scope of works under your employment agreement. However, Amazon will provide requisite
security and such other amenity/ies as required by law where Amazon requires you to work from
office.
3. You must stay current with your Amazon Security Awareness KNet modules (online training).
4. The security of Amazon property and information in your virtual work area is as important as in the
Amazon office. You are responsible for maintaining the security of network access to Amazon’s
computer systems and for ensuring that you are the only user of such systems.
a. You are expected to take reasonable precautions to protect your own and any Amazon
provided
equipment, information, and supplies from theft, damage, disclosure, or misuse.
b. You agree to abide by Amazon’s rules regarding the use of computer equipment. You
understand that Amazon’s rules may change from time to time.
c. Proper security protection includes, but is not limited to, maintaining password protection
on all electronic equipment used in connection with your job.
d. You are responsible for any loss or damage to Amazon property or information that is the
result of your negligence or misuse.
e. In the event of a security breach of any kind (for example, lost or stolen computer or
security violation) or if you become aware that confidential information has been
compromised, you must notify your Supervisor immediately.
f. Failure to take appropriate precautions to protect equipment and information may
result in corrective action, up to and including termination of your employment.
5. You do not have an expectation or right to privacy with respect to any such information contained
within or transmitted through Amazon’s systems.

virtual work area. y
4. Confidential information displayed on workstations should not be viewable by others.
5. Under no circumstances should visitors, family members, roommates, or friends be allowed to listen in
on, or read, customer contacts, Amazon policies, or other confidential and proprietary information or
systems.
6. There should be a dedicated workspace, where no third party shall visit during the office hours. 7.
Amazon records kept in your virtual work area must be returned to Amazon upon request
including, without limitation, upon a leave of absence or at the end of your employment with Amazon.
8. Significant care must be taken when viewing and retrieving messages and/or files.
a. Desktop applications may not be left open on the screen when a computer is unattended.
b. Users authorized to access confidential information should set electronic media to generate an
appropriate screen saver after a short period of inactivity (no more than 10 minutes).
c. Information that is sensitive or confidential may not be left in areas where it might be discovered by
unauthorized individuals.
d. These prohibitions include paper as well as electronic storage data of any type.
Computer Setup
1. Employees are not permitted to print, download, forward, or copy in any manner any Amazon
information. All connections to Amazon networks and systems must be encrypted via Secure Socket
Layer (SSL) and/or corporate VPN All documents must be reviewed and retained electronically.
2. All Amazon equipment must be plugged into a surge protector.
3. Calls must be made and received on a dedicated phone line free from added features, including but not
limited to call waiting, three-way calling, voice mail or an answering machine.
4. Computers must be connected directly to the modem while working and you must maintain a secure
network access.
Expenses
These guidelines determine what expenses are eligible for reimbursement.
1. Amazon may provide office supplies as needed. Any out-of-pocket expenses for supplies or other items related
to your employment as an AOSPI Virtual Employee can only be reimbursed with prior manager’s approval and in
accordance with Amazon Philippines expense reimbursement policies.

with 30 to 36 inches of open space / room for maneuvering.
10. Heating, cooling and ventilation are adequate for desired occupancy.
11. The workspace is free from excessive noise.
12. The office space is neat, clean and free of flammable materials.
13. Floor surfaces are clean, dry and level.
14. Carpets are well-secured to the floor and free of frayed or worn seams.
15. The work area is private and free of intrusion.
16. Files and data are secure.
17. Furniture and equipment used for work are ergonomically correct.
18. Chair is sturdy and adjustable (90 degrees at knees, feet flat on floor), with backrest and casters
appropriate for floor surface.
19. Wrists and forearms of the keyboard are straight.
20. There are no slip and trip hazards in your work area.
21. Carpets or rugs are secure and not frayed as to cause a trip hazard. Rugs are away from the work area
and not directly behind your chair as these can cause trips to happen.
22. Work area is free from clutter, and tidy at all times.
23. First aid supplies are readily accessible and adequate.
