Safety notes 1.2
General safety information (in existing documents) 0
WARNING Danger of injury, death, or material damage.
Non-compliance can lead to death, injury, or material dam-
age.
Please note:
¹ The product-specific safety notes in these instruc-
tions,
¹ The general safety information in TD00-000.860.01...,
and
¹ the respective safety-relevant guidelines of your ser-
vice organization.
General electrical safety information 0
WARNING Electrical safety!
Non-compliance can lead to severe injury or even death, as
well as material damage.
¹ Parts under an electrical charge are accessible when
the covers are open. To avoid danger, disconnect the
system from the line voltage before opening the cov-
ers. Disconnect the power plug.
¹ If an uninterruptible power supply (UPS) unit is
installed in the system, the voltage output of the UPS
must also be deenergized or the voltage output plug
must be disconnected.
¹ If work steps must be performed using electrical volt-
age, the general safety information according to
TD00-000.860.01... must be observed.

WARNING X-ray radiation!
Non-compliance can lead to illness, irreversible damage to
body cells and genetic material, severe injury, and even
death.
When working on systems where radiation must be released,
follow the respective safety-relevant guidelines of your ser-
vice organization.
Please note:
¹ Use available radiation protection devices.
¹ Wear radiation protection clothing (lead apron).
¹ Stay as far away as possible from the radiation source.
¹ Release radiation only if necessary.
¹ Set the radiation activity as low as possible. (low kV
and mA values, short radiation time)
¹ Release radiation for as short a time as possible.
X ¹ Checks requiring the release of radiation are identified
by the radiation warning symbol shown on the left.

Notes on adapting the power plug to local conditions. 1.4
The customer can have the power plug on the supplied power cable replaced with an
appropriate local plug by an electrician, provided that:
- The power plug to be used can transmit the necessary power for operating the sys-
tem (see the current and voltage values on the line voltage label or in the operator
manual) and
- The required line resistance is reached (see the system planning guide) and
- The selective protection of the fusing is in accordance with the relevant national stan-
dards.
The customer must also ensure that connection to unsuitable power supply systems is pre-
vented (e.g., using labeling or constructive measures).
Protective conductor measurements should be performed and documented as a final step.

• Check the exterior temperature indicators for 37°C and 40°C on the I.I. housing.
- If the inner, square fields of both indicators show white, the temperature has not been
exceeded. Then remove the temperature indicators.
- If an indicator is discolored (inner field black), proceed according to IQ document

Country- and customer-specific programming 1.9
Fluoroscopy time limitation 0
X Setting made at the factory in the scope of DHHS guidelines:
• The buzzer sounds after 5 minutes of totaled fluoroscopy time.
Compulsory radiation shut-down occurs after 5 minutes of uninterrupted fluoroscopy
time (the buzzer sounds 30 seconds before compulsory shut-down).
Setting made at the factory in the rest of the world:
• The buzzer sounds after 5 minutes of totaled fluoroscopy time.
Compulsory radiation shut-down occurs after 10 minutes of uninterrupted fluoroscopy
time (the buzzer sounds 30 seconds before compulsory shut-down).
Using the Service PC the fluoroscopy time limitation can be reprogrammed to:
• The buzzer sounds after 5 minutes of totaled fluoroscopy time.
No compulsory radiation shut-down.
• The buzzer sounds after 10 minutes of totaled fluoroscopy time.
Compulsory radiation shut-down occurs after 10 minutes of uninterrupted fluoroscopy
time (the buzzer sounds 30 seconds before compulsory shut-down).
• The buzzer sounds for 2 seconds after 5 minutes of totaled fluoroscopy time.
No compulsory radiation shut-down.
• The buzzer sounds for 2 seconds after 5 minutes of totaled fluoroscopy time.
Compulsory radiation shut-down occurs after 10 minutes of uninterrupted fluoroscopy
time (the buzzer sounds 30 seconds before compulsory shut-down).
Country-specific regulations must be observed.
Applicable parameters: “Buzzer and block time settings” - “Buzzer warning/ X-ray blocking”
Audible signal during fluoroscopy 0
X • The audible signal during fluoroscopy is inactive at delivery. No audible signal will
sound during fluoroscopy. If national regulations require that an audible signal sound
during fluoroscopy, the service PC can be used to program the system. Applicable
parameters: “Buzzer and block time settings” - “Buzzer mode (FL / IFL / DR).”
Audible signal for direct exposure 0
X • When using direct exposure, an audible signal sounds when radiation ends. If national
regulations require that an audible signal sound during radiation, the service PC can be
used to program the system. Applicable parameters: “Buzzer and block time settings” -
“Buzzer mode (CEX).”

MEMOSKOP CX: Operation 0
NOTE Note for systems without operating keyboard:
The SIREMOBIL Compact L with MEMOSKOP CX and license
for 25 images (CX 25) can be delivered without the operating
keyboard if the customer so wishes. However, a keyboard is
necessary for configuring and backing up the MEMOSKOP
CX.
In this case, connect the service keyboard included with
delivery (before switching on the system) to the MEMOSKOP
CX. (The service keyboard is kept in the compartment for the
system binder at the back of the monitor cart.)
The service keyboard has all the keys from the operating key-
board (except for the "Home" key) necessary for performing
the settings in User Setup and Technical Setup.
For the "Home" key ( ->I<- ), use the "Escape" key on the ser-
vice keyboard.
After completing all work steps for settings and backup on
the MEMOSKOP CX, unplug the service keyboard and put it
back in the compartment on the back of the monitor cart.
NOTE A service keyboard (either PS2, or USB with PS2 adapter) will
be delivered ex factory. To connect via PS2, connect the key-
board to the Memoskop "PC keyboard" port on the back of
the Memoskop. If a USB keyboard was delivered, it can be
connected to the USB port on the front of the Memoskop CX.
