RETURN AND REFUND POLICY

Dear Valued Customers,

Please review the following terms and conditions regarding returns and refunds for purchases made at
Pierre Motor Spares:

1. Eligibility for Return or Exchange:


- Goods are eligible for return or exchange if they are returned within seven (7) days from the date
of purchase, including public holidays.
- Goods must be in their original condition, unused, and in the original packaging, free of any
defects, and in a resalable condition.

2. Proof of Purchase:
- A valid original proof of purchase is mandatory for all returns and exchanges. Returns or
exchanges will not be processed without proof of purchase.

3. Handling Fee:
- A handling fee of twenty percent (20%) will apply to all returns, provided the goods meet the
eligibility criteria.
- For an exchange, no handling fee will be charged, provided that the item the customer is
exchanging is of the same price or higher than the original purchase.

4. Non-Returnable Items:
- The following items are non-returnable and non-refundable: electrical items, non-stock items,
opened lubricants, car care products, paint, batteries, filters, gaskets, rings, cylinder heads, pistons,
injectors, radiators, and any parts subject to misuse.

5. Special Orders:
- Special orders are not eligible for return, exchange, or refund under any circumstances once the
order has been placed and a deposit or full payment has been made.

6. Cancellation of Special Orders:


- Special orders cannot be canceled once placed. Should a client decide to cancel a special order,
any deposits or payments made will be forfeited.

7. Processing Time for Special Orders:


- Special orders may take up to fourteen (14) working days to process, excluding public holidays
and weekends. We request your patience during this period.

8. Claims of Incorrect Items:


- In the event a customer claims that an incorrect item was supplied, despite providing accurate
information about their vehicle, the customer must return the item along with a sample part from their
vehicle proving the discrepancy.
- The item must be returned within seven (7) days from the date of purchase.
- Upon verification that the supplied item is incorrect, we will endeavor to exchange the item with
the correct part, subject to availability.
- If the correct part is unavailable, a refund will be issued. However, no automatic refund will be
processed solely based on the return of the item.
- The customer bears the responsibility of providing a sample from their vehicle to confirm the error
and to verify the unavailability of the correct part in our inventory.

9. Battery Guarantee:
- Our batteries come with a twenty-four (24) month guarantee. In the event of a claim, there will be
no automatic exchange of the battery.
- The battery will undergo a charging and testing process, and in certain cases, may be sent back to
the manufacturer for further testing.
- The customer must wait for the completion of this process, which can take up to sixty (60) days.
- No replacement or loan battery will be provided to the customer during this period.

10. Claims of Faulty Items:


- For any claim of faulty items, no automatic exchange or refund will be made.
- The item in question will be sent back to the supplier for testing.
- The exchange or refund will only take place once the supplier's report is received and confirms the
fault.
- This process can take up to sixty (60) working days, excluding weekends and public holidays.

11. General Provisions:


- Pierre Motor Spares reserves the right to amend this return and refund policy at any time without
prior notice. Any amendments will be posted on our premises and website.
- This policy does not affect your statutory rights.
