Dory

Ninaishi kijijini karibu na mji Nakuru.Nyumba yetu ina takriban miaka sitini na ilijengwa
kwa mawe.Nyumbani tuna sebule,chumba cha Kusoma,chumba cha kula na jiko katika
ghorofa ya chini.Katika ghorofa ya juu kuna vyumba vitatu vya kulala na bafu mbili. Chumba
ninachokipenda zaidi ni chumba changu cha kulala kwa sababu mandhari ya nje kuna bustani
na kwa umbali kidogo kuna vilima vizuri.Tunapenda kutunza kwa hivyo mwingi wa wakati
wetu sisi hutumia bustani.

I live in a house in a village near Oxford. It’s about 80 years old and made of stone. We’ve
got a living room, study, dining room, and kitchen downstairs. Upstairs there are three
bedrooms and two bathrooms - one of them is en suite. I think my favourite room has to be
our bedroom - it has a view of the garden and the hills beyond. My husband and I love
gardening, so we spend a lot of time outside in the summer.

Chumba changu kiko katika ghorofa ya tatu katika nyumba nzee ya mbao.Kwa mtu mmoja
kubwa tosha.Kina vyumba viwili vya kulala na sebule kubwa.Kwangu mimi ni hali nzuri kwa
sababu mimi husafiri sana na katoka kila safari mimi huleta vitu vingi sana.Kuna jiko dogo
ambalo lina roshani pia kuna bafu nzuri sana.Mahali ninayopenda zaidi chumbani kwangu ni
sebule ambapo mimi husikiliza muziki.Pia hapo pana televisheni nia pia hapo ndipo mimi
huskiliza muziki.Sebuleni pia kuna kiyoyozi.

My apartment is on the third floor of an old wooden house. It’s pretty big for one person, but
that's good. It’s got two bedrooms and a very large living room, which is great for me because
I travel a lot and bring lots of things home with me. There’s a small kitchen with a balcony
leading off of it, and a decent bathroom. My favorite room's the living room. That's where I
watch TV and listen to music. It’s also where the air-conditioning is - it gets hot in Boston in
the summer.
