CONSTITUTION
ARTICLE ONE (1)
1.0, NAME
This club shall be registered under the name of MIRACLE WOMEN CLUB and shall remain a
Non-partisan but loyal to the Government of the day.
.1 LOCATION OF THE CLUB
Its postal address shall be;
Wangwa farm
Landless corner
Chibombo.
ARTICLE TWO (2)
2.0. AIMS AND OBJECTIVES
THE OBJECTIVES OF MIRACLE WOMEN shall be;
• To take full advantages of income generating activities among the club members in the
Society community at large.
• To promote women to enhance efforts so as to improve food security.
• To tempt women, realize their full potential and shun violence and corruption
• To attract youth to be business preoccupied with.
ARTICLE THREE (3)
3.0. MANAGEMENT OF CLUB
The Miracle women club shall be governed by the following;
i.Chairperson
ii. Vice chairperson
iii. Secretary
iv. Vice Secretary
v. Treasurer
vi. committee members
3.1 MEMBERSHIP OF ENDURE WOMEN CLUB
Membership shall remain open to all interested women in the community. The eligible members
shall be from of nineteen (19) years and above.
3.2 Joining to the club shall be approved by the Executive committee after paying the entrance
fee of K50 but the fees shall be subjected to change. The entrance fee will remain a non-
refundable fee.
ARTICLE FOUR (4)
4.0 DUTIES OF THE OFFICE BEARERS
The office bearers shall carry their duties required follows;
4.1 THE CHAIRPERSON OF MIRACLE WOMEN CLUB
• Shall chair all the committee, Extra-Ordinary and Annual General Meetings.
• Shall have the understanding of all the financial transactions, finance books and records
as well As the constitution.
• Shall make sure that the constitution is adhered to by he/she and all members of the club.
• Shall manage all disputes arising from the club.
• Shall address and display love, unity, fairness and respect among members.
4.2 THE VCE CHAIRPERSON OF MIRACLE WOMEN CLUB
• Shall take up all the responsibilities of the chairperson as delegated in his absence.
4.3 THE SECRETARY OF MIRACLE WOMEN CLUB
• Will be in charge of all record books of the club except financial books but have an
• Will be knowledgeable of the constitution so that he could be able to elucidate issues
easily to The old and new members of the cooperative.
• Shall always take up the position of recording all the minutes of the meetings. R
• Shall notify members on time about the meeting and the agenda.
• Shall be a signatory at the bank
4.4 THE VICE SECRETARY OF MIRACLE WOMEN CLUB
Shall take up the position of the secretary in his/her absence.
4.5 THE TREASURER OF MIRACLE WOMEN CLUB
• Shall be responsible for all the finances that come into the treasury of the club by way of
Contributions, fundraising, loans and grants.
• Shall see to it that all funds are receipted, banked and are on clear records.
• Shall be required to present financial reports at general meetings.
• Shall be a signatory at the bank
4.6 THE COMMITTEE MEMBER
• Shall be a member of the executive committee
• Shall make a quorum of the executive committee meeting
ARTICLE FIVE (5)
5.0 TERM OF OFFICE
The a committee members shall run the club for the period of one (1) years and a
member can be re-elected for another term but can’t go beyond two (2) terms consecutively
Incase that an executive committee member ceases to be a member by way of demises or
Expulsion the chairperson and committee shall appoint one person from the committee or
from The general membership believed fit to fill the vacancy without having elections.
ARTICLE SIX (6)
6.0 MEMBERSHIP TERMINATION
When a member dies
When a member is being expelled by the executive committee when found guilt
Upon a member becoming insane
Upon a member joining another club.
ARTICLE SEVEN (7)
7.0 DISPLICINE
All club members shall abide by the rules and regulations of the TWATASHA SOCIAL YOUTH
CLUB as Reflected below,
All club members are required to respect the executive and its obligations.
Members shall firmly observe time management at all meetings.
Every member shall attract punishable measures by the executive committee for
failing to Attend three (3) consecutive meetings without good reasons.
The executive committee shall expel any member after three (3) written warnings
for the error Done.
ARTICLE EIGHT (8)!
8.0 FINANCES OF THE CLUB
8.1 The club shall raise funds through the following means;
Paying annual subscription fees
Get on fundraising activities i.e. farming in general and other fundraising venture
Through proposal request to non-governmental organizations
Lobbying from government through the community development department and well-
wishers.
8.2 BANKING ACCOUNTABILITY
The club shall open an account for banking purpose with any credible and reliable bank
in Zambia
There shall be three (3) signatories e.g. chairperson, secretary, treasurer but any two (2)
signatories shall enable the withdrawal.
8.3 DISRUBUTION OF PROFIT DIVIDED
Fifty percent (50%) of the total profit shall go into the club treasury account in the bank.
Thirty percent (30%) of the total profit shall be shared as bonus to members
• Twenty percent (20%) of the total support any youth activities in the community
e.g. especially Girl tournament etc.
ARTICLE NINE (9)
MEETINGS
9,0 THE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE MEETINGS
• The executive committee meetings shall be held every two months.
• Ten(10) executive committee members shall make a quorum for the meeting to
take place.
9.1 GENERAL MEETINGS
• All other matters concerning the running of the club shall be discussed during the
general Meetings.
• Fifty (50) members present at these meetings shall facilities for the meetings to go
on.
ARTICLE TEN (10)
10.0 PARTNERSHIP AND AFFILIATION
• The Miracle women club will also work with local NGOs and international
Organization Respectively.
• Affiliation to other Non-Governmental Organization shall be undertaken only to
those organs With similar objectives so as to achieve the common goal.
ARTICLE ELEVEN (11)
11.0 TENURE OF EXECUTVE OFFICE
• The executive committee office bearers shall be in the office for the period not
exceeding three (3) years after which elections to ushers in new office bearers
should be conducted
• The elections of new committee members shall be held during annual General
Meetings under A secret ballot of one man one vote principle.
ARTICLE THIRTEEN (13)
12.0 DISPOSAL OF ASSETS UPON DISSOLUTION
In event that the club is dissolved and that there is no any other absolute measure to sustain in the
Club, Assets and the money raised shall be shared among members.
ARTICLE FOURTEEN (14)
13.0. CONCLUSION
Members of the club shall be approve and adopted to this constitution.
