                                                             Pattern Notes
                                                             Gauge is not important for project. Use
                                                             smaller needles for tight stitch to prevent
                                                             stuffing show-through.
                                                             Frog is worked in the round from the bottom

                                                             Eyes are worked separately and are inserted
                                                             into eye sockets for super “bug eyed”

Colonial Knot Tutorial                                       Step 3 - Pull up yarn slack to form tight
This embroidery stitch is an alternative to                  knot. Insert needle into fabric right next to
the French Knot and is the used the frogs'                   beginning location, being careful not to

Thread tapestry needle with double strand of
matching yarn. Insert yarn back or inside to
front (right) side.
