5:00 AM - Hotel to DPS Airport

IMPORTANT:
 Safety first, be sure to follow guidelines/instructions in every place you visit
 Respect the Balinese culture
 Be mindful of the surrounding
 Renting a car or booking a tour operator is more efficient and safe since some of the roads especially in the Nusa Penida
Island are still under construction
 Most temples require you to wear Sarong or a pants/skirt that is below the knee
 For more peaceful location, book an accommodation in Ubud
 Kuta/Seminyak for nightlife
 Most car rentals are 10 hours/day and you can arrange it according to your preferred schedule
 Lastly, be a responsible traveler

SHOPPING:
You can ask your driver to drop you to an art market or to your desired shopping destination. Here are some of the places you can get
cheap deals, just try to haggle but be fair:
 Ubud Art Market
 Tegallalang Handicrafts
 Kuta Art Market, Kuta Square
 Markets outside the temples

TENTATIVE EXPENSES: 15,000 – 20,000 ALL IN

BUDGET TIPS:
 Plan your trip ahead and book your flights in advance
 Exchange rate around Ubud is better than the Airport rate
 Bali is generally cheap and buying in local markets/supermarkets can help a lot in your budget
 Haggle - If shopping especially in Ubud Market, don’t forget to bargain like a Pinoy Pro
 Save more when you eat in Warungs (Local karinderya) or cook your own food
 This guide is for a group of 4 but you can book up to 6 pax to save more
 Our driver friend told us that we can get much cheaper deals outside the temples, true enough because after some haggling,
we got the Bali Rattan Bag for only PHP400-PHP500 in Pura Tirta Empul

TOUR OPERATORS/CONTACTS:
If it’s you’re first time here and travelling on a budget, it’s highly recommended to book a tour operator to lessen the expenses.
