Motivational letter
Dear Admissions Committee of Kazakh-British Technical University, I am writing to express
my strong interest in pursuing higher education at the Kazakh-British Technical University. After
a long search and compare of benefits and drawbacks of some universities I realized that
Kazakh-British Technical University is ideal place to achieve my goals in education on the
university stage.
And why have I chosen Kazakh-British Technical University exactly? There are some points that
belong to KBTU after that I was amazed that in Kazakhstan there is such university as KBTU. I
have a heightened sense of justice, so academic integrity is very important to me in the process
of studying at the university, this aspect has become one of the most important when choosing a
university, because KBTU always takes a leading position in the annual ranking of academic
integrity.
KBTU has highly qualified teachers: the teaching staff includes foreigners from countries such
as Great Britain, Australia, Turkey, the USA and India, which allows me to experience a
professional approach to my specialty in different countries.
Training at KBTU is conducted in English, which allows you to learn academic English and
know the necessary terms for your profession in order to be able to work in an international
company in the future.
To choose educational program was a bit of complicated for me. During tenth grade, I could
not figure out who I really wanted to be in the future. I have decided to recall my interests from
the childhood-when I studied in primary school I was interested in currency, exchange rates, in
counting the money in my “piggy bank”, I also admired percentage exercises. Over time, my
love for mathematics and interest in studying and planning only intensified, and I the and of
tenth grade I realized, that I can succeed in such specialty as “Finance”. Moreover, such specialty
as “Finance” allows me to work in various areas of financial institutes. In my point of view, in
this specialty I can reveal my full potential.
I always participate in school life and events. I differ from many of my classmates in my
passion for acquiring knowledge. Of my most significant achievements, I can note a high score
at the UNT(130 points) and participation in the Mega Chance Olympiad from Almaty
Management University, where I won a 50% discount.
After completing my Bachelor's degree in Finance from KBTU, I am keen to pursue a career in
the financial sector, ideally in investment banking, asset management or financial analysis.
I am confident that KBTU's renowned financial program, world-class faculty, and vibrant
campus community will provide me with the necessary tools and resources to achieve my
academic and professional aspirations. I am deeply committed to making the most of this
opportunity and contributing to the University's legacy of excellence. Thank you for considering
