technological products or services. The Sales Engineer's responsibilities include maintaining extensive
knowledge of the products' parts, functions, and processes and assisting to close sales where technical
expertise may be required to fit the clients' needs. To be successful as a sales engineer, you should
possess an in-depth knowledge of our company's technical products and services and you should be able
to relate this knowledge in a way that is understandable to non-technical customers. You should be

Responsibilities
• Technical Pre-Sales works on a peer level with Business Development team and Solution
Consultant's to formulate an Account Plan for nominated prospective customers. It is vital that the
Pre-Sales acts as the Technical Authority for these accounts, by delivering technical information to
the customer in the form of RFI/RFP responses, design related documentation, product updates and
industry/competitive analysis.
• Technical Design Authority
• Lead the technical Strategy for nominated customers and prospects
• Generate technical documents to support bid responses (RFI, RFP)
• Knowledge sharing of latest industry trends in Collaboration and Unified Communications solutions
with our sales team, customers, prospects and partners
• Deliver solution updates covering roadmaps with our customers and prospects Commercially
• Development and delivery of financial information, such as Return on Investment (ROI), non-
standard products, internal/external professional services
• Ensure that all technical solutions fit within the customers’ requirements and budget
• Joint development of Account Plans with Account Manager/Director
• Work within the bid process to ensure technical sign-off and peer validation procedures are
followed with the post-sale (project management in particular)
• Development of services offerings along with Collaboration solutions
Qualifications:
• A minimum of 10 years of experience into Presales/Relevant sales domain required.
• Experience in implementing and/or pre-sales of software products is a must. Experience with
security software products especially IAM or PIM/PAM will have significant advantages.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to build quality relationships with
new prospects and customers.
• Advanced technical skills in implementing, supporting and delivering enterprise software
solutions with a proven track record.
