LIBRARY PROCEDURES IN BORROWING AND RETURNING BOOKS

Procedures in Borrowing Books

1. Fill up the Logbook at the entrance upon entering the Library.

2. Present Library I.D. Card to the Library In-charge before you can use any library facility. No Library I.D.
Card, No using of Library facilities.

3. Ask for assistance from the Library In-charge or you may go directiy ai ihe shelf to start your
searching.

4.After searching for the book. Fill up the book card which can be found at the back cover of the book
then present it to the Library In-charge at the circulation table along with your Library I.D. Card.

Procedures on Returning Books

1.Return the book to the Library In-charge at the circulation table.

2. Retrieve your library I.D. Card then return the book in the book shelf.

3. For over dues, settle account immediately.

LIBRARY RULES AND REGULATIONS

Library I.D. card is non transferable. Anyone who uses another student's Library I.D. card will be
suspended to any Library Privileges for one (1) week.

Borrowing of books for home use starts at 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM and shall be returned the following
day not later than 9:00 AM. Failure to do so would mean a fine of 2.00 Php per Hour.

Library materials that are to be photocopied is/are given one(1) hour allotment of time only. Failure to
return after one(1) hour would mean a fine of 2.00Php per 30 minutes.

Borrowed books must be returned in the same condition when borrowed, otherwise damage shall be
paid or replaced.

Lost book must be reported immediately to avoid fines. Replace it with the latest edition of the same
Title, and Copyright year of the book and if not available, title can be recommended by the Library In-
charge.

Vandalizing Library property shall be subjected to disciplinary actions.

Books at the Reserved Section are for Room use only; any attempt of bringing it home is considered
theft and is subjected for 1 week suspension to any Library Privileges.
