To,
The Deputy Commissioner
Municipal Corporation of Delhi,
Rajouri Garden
SUBJECT: COMPLAINT REGARDING ILLEGAL PARKING OBSTRUCTION
AT A-17, ASHA PARK
Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding an ongoing issue of
illegal parking obstructing the main entrance of our residence located at A-
17, Asha Park. The vehicle in question is a car bearing the registration
number DL 4CAU0 493, owned by Mr. Paramjeet Singh, our neighbor.
This vehicle is consistently parked directly in front of the main entrance of
our house, creating a significant obstruction. This matter is of grave concern
as the residents of the house are elderly individuals whose health is fragile.
In the event of a medical emergency, the obstruction severely hampers the
ability to exit the house promptly, thereby posing a serious risk to their well-
being.
As per the Delhi Municipal Corporation Act, 1957, Section 320, no person is
allowed to park a vehicle in a manner that causes obstruction to the free
flow of traffic or the ingress and egress from premises. This repeated parking
violation by Mr. Paramjeet Singh not only contravenes the aforementioned
provision but also demonstrates a blatant disregard for the safety and
convenience of others.
Despite multiple polite requests to Mr. Paramjeet Singh to refrain from
parking his vehicle in front of our entrance, there has been no change in his
behaviour. As such, we are left with no option but to seek the intervention of
the Municipal Corporation of Delhi to resolve this issue.
We kindly request that immediate action be taken to address this matter.
We suggest the following measures:
   1. Issuance of a formal warning to Mr. Paramjeet Singh regarding the
      illegal parking.
   2. Imposition of appropriate penalties as per the provisions of the Delhi
      Municipal Corporation Act.
   3. Regular monitoring and enforcement to prevent recurrence of such
      violations.
We trust that the MCD will take swift and effective action to ensure the
safety and convenience of all residents in the area. Your prompt attention to
this matter will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you for your cooperation.
Yours faithfully,
