1. Define
a. Science
- Science is the pursuit and application of knowledge and understanding of the
natural and social world following a systematic methodology based on evidence. It is
also the set of techniques, methods, and laws that are used or were used to
ACHIEVE knowledge.

b. Technology
- Technology refers to the application of scientific knowledge for practical
purposes, especially in industry, where tools, systems, and methods are used to
solve problems or improve conditions. It encompasses a broad range of physical
devices, software, and systems that interact with the environment and human
society.

c. Society
- A society is a group of people who share a common location territory and are
linked by social connections, institutions, and norms. It includes the structured
systems of relationships and organizations that enable individuals to interact and
work together with one another, such as families, communities, governments, and
institutions. Culture, values, and social practices shape society, influencing how
people live, work, and interact with each other. It can range from small, close-knit
communities to big, complex nations, and it evolves over time as its members adjust
to new circumstances and issues.

2. Discuss the relationship of

a. Science and Technology
- Science and technology are deeply interconnected. Science provides the
knowledge and understanding of natural phenomena, which technology then
applies to create tools, systems, and innovations. Conversely, advancements in
technology often enable new scientific discoveries by offering improved methods
and instruments for research. This cyclical relationship drives progress in both fields.

b. Science and Society

 - We all know that science is a systematized body of knowledge that explains
everything. Science and society are in a dynamic relationship where they relate to
one another. Science seeks to improve the quality of our living in the society, while
society demands knowledge. This relationship is fundamental in addressing global
challenges.

c. Technology and Society

- The relationship between technology and society is dynamic and complex.
Technology influences society by shaping how people communicate, work, and
interact, often driving changes in social norms and economic structures. Conversely,
societal needs and values can drive technological innovation and adoption. In
essence, technology and society co-evolve, with each impacting and reshaping the
other in a continuous, reciprocal process.

d. Science, Technology and Society

- Science involves the systematic study of the natural world through observation
and experimentation. It seeks to understand underlying principles and phenomena.
Scientific discoveries often lay the groundwork for technological advancements by
providing new knowledge and insights. For example, the discovery of electricity
paved the way for modern electrical technologies.
Technology is the application of scientific knowledge for practical purposes. It
encompasses tools, machines, and systems designed to solve problems and improve
human life. Technological advancements can enable further scientific research by
providing new tools and methods. For instance, advanced imaging technologies like
MRI machines have revolutionized medical diagnostics.
Society encompasses the collective organization and behavior of people,
including their values, norms, and institutions. It influences which scientific research
