round instead of rows.
Notes
Decreases are done using the "Invisible
Decrease" method. Pull up the front loop only
of the first and second stitch. Yarn under and
pull through those 2 loops. Yarn under and
pull through the remaining 2 loops on your
hook.
Using stitch markers is ideal when making
amigurumi. I like to place my marker in the
first stitch of each round and when it's going
to be hard to find stitches later.
RND 11 is worked in the front loops and
RND 12 is worked in the back loops of RND 10.
BEGIN Make a Magic Ring (MR).
RND 1 sc x8 into the MR and close. (8)
RND 2 inc x8 (16)
RND 3 (sc, inc) x8 (24)
Pull the MR tail tight and use your yarn
needle to go through a stitch and secure
it with a knot on the inside.
RND 4-7 sc x24 (24)
RND 8 sc 7, ch 4, sl st into same st,
sc 10, ch4, sl st into same st, sc 7 (24)
RND 9-10 sc x24 (24)
Pull arms to outside. Place eyes between
RNDs 6+7, separated by 3 sts, and
centered with the arms.
PM in BLO of 1st & 24th st of RND 10.
PM in first hdc of RND 11.
RND 11 FLO (hdc, dc, hdc, sl st) x6 (24)
RND 12 goes behind RND 11 and on BLO
of RND 10. Stuff firmly as you go.
RND 12 BLO (sc, dec) x8 (16)
RND 13 (sc, dec) x8 (8)
Last RND goes until you end with 8 sts.
FINISH Fasten off, close.
Add a little blush.
Start light and
layer slowly.
