Lesson Outline
1. Elicit (5 minutes)
Activity: Start with a short video clip that depicts various emotions and behaviors in
different scenarios.
Questions:
o What emotions did you observe?
o How do you think the characters felt?
o What behaviors did they exhibit?
2. Engage (10 minutes)
Activity: Group discussion on the importance of self-awareness.
Prompt: “Why is it important to understand our thoughts and feelings?”
Expected Outcome: Students will share personal insights and experiences, fostering a
supportive environment.
3. Explore (10 minutes)
Activity: In pairs, students will role-play scenarios where they express different emotions
(e.g., happiness, anger, sadness).
Objective: Students explore how various thoughts and feelings can lead to different
behaviors.
4. Explain (10 minutes)
Presentation: Introduce the concepts of thoughts, feelings, and behaviors using a mind
map on the board.
Discussion: Define each component, and explain their interconnections.
5. Elaborate (10 minutes)
Activity: Reflective journal writing. Students will write about a recent experience,
identifying their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.
