BRIGADE NUMBER: 35
TEAM NUMBER: 7
PROBLEM STATEMENT
TRANSPORT
The main problem is that inefficiency of technology in road
transportation makes traffic jams it leads to longer travel time and
several accidents,it also damages the infrastructure, increased fuel
consumption, lot of air pollution, affecting the day to day routine of the
people.
SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS
(
Use of electric vehicles it offers zero emission transportation and
reducing reliance on fossil fuels, use of bicycles for shorter distance
and by walking we can reduce the traffic, building efficient
bridges, shared mobility solutions it will reduce the number of
vehicles.
CHALLENGES FORESEEN
Infrastructure investment:High costs for upgrading and maintaining sustainable
transportation can be a barrier.
Parking problem: As we know that there is not enough space in centre of large cities to
accommodate everyone who wants to drive and park. It affects transportation.
Climate change impacts: During the rainy season, most roads are unsafe to travel and
extreme weather events can disrupt transportation systems and damage infrastructure.
Regulatory l barriers :Land use restrictions can impede the development of new
transportation projects such as transit -oriented development and bike lanes.

ADDRESSING THE CHALLENGES
WHO? (TARGET GROUP /IMPACT GROUP) WHERE: (LOCATION AT WHICH THE IDEA WILL BE
IMPLEMENTED)
• Common people’s ➢ The idea will be implemented in high
tech and urban cities.
IMPACT:
(THE IMPACT THE SOLUTION WILL HAVE IN THE SOCIETY)
➢Economic Growth:Enhanced transportation infrastructure supports local
businesses and attracts investments.
➢Improved Public Health:Lower levels of air pollution lead to fewer
respiratory and cardiovascular illnesses.
SOLUTION
➢Congestion Pricing: Implement congestion charges in high-traffic areas to discourage car
use and high occupancy vehicles.
➢Traffic Management: Use real-time data and Al to optimize traffic flow and reduce
congestion.
➢Electronic Toll Collection: Automate toll collection to reduce delays and improve traffic
flow at toll plazas.
➢Public Awareness and Education Campaigns: Run campaigns to educate the public on
the benefits of sustainable transport options.
➢Incentives: Provide incentives for using public transport, cycling, and carpooling.
